People in their 20s-30s, please help meee

I have a school project; if you have time, can you answer these two questions? Or either of them?

1) Do you have life insurance and why?

2) What would make you want to get life insurance?

Interesting.

Yes, I have a life insurance. As to why, I have a co-investment -thing going on and if I were to die in some freak accident, I wouldn't want to trouble the other parties by causing additional headache and worry due to the arrangements involving the loan that I have from the bank.

Plus it would help cover the funeral costs and whatnot. I hate being a bother and I like to think ahead.

1) Yes, because it is fairly cheap through my job
2) Insurance for the future in case something goes wrong

1- Yes, bought it this year, actually. I have a kid and I know I will be having more some time in the future and I want them to be financially secured should anything happen to me.

2- I don't know, different aspects of it appeal to different people. I think the primary reason to get it should be if you have others (especially children) that depend on you and your income and you also happen to be the sole bread winner in the household. You should at least think about it then if it is within your budget.

What he said.

The company shoulders part of the monthly premiums. But I am an individually paying member now. Also, I have two insurances. It's a good investment.

No.

1. I have no job, so no money even if I wanted to.

2. I have no family who could benefit from this anyway, except for my mother.

3. I'm an optimist, so I'm convinced I won't die in my 20s or 30s.

No, I don't currently have live insurance. I'm 26 today. It would likely be super cheap to get it at my age and good health, but I don't have it because I don't feel like it/don't feel like I need it.

I might get it if:

1) I had people who were financially dependent on me. I mean that's why you typically get it right?
2) It came cheap through my job or something of that nature.

I'm older now, but I've had life insurance since my mid-20's because I have kids.

1) Do you have life insurance and why?
No - I'm self-employed and am not getting enough income yet to justify the cost.

2) What would make you want to get life insurance?
If I had a dependent, or some great cause that I thought would benefit from the payout, then it would be prudent.

1) Do you have life insurance and why?
Yes - Because its not bad to have more securities if we could afford it.
I already have family, so all the more reason.

2) What would make you want to get life insurance?
If we have more funds to spare and more life risking situation I guess....

1. Yup I have a life insurance. Why not remain in the safe side in case something happens?

2. When you have money and people dependent on you (wife, children or even parents, as in my case) you must get a life insurance

I do not have life insurance ... probably should since I have kids, but I don't.

I believe my husband does through his job ... I don't remember. As for why he got it, it was provided so why not take it? Can only see good reason to get it than not.

Sorry this isn't much info, and hope it helps.

Even if I don't have dependents, at least I'll get a respectable amount when I turn 60 and have a pension.

Yes I have life insurance, as does my wife. I would want my wife and daughter to be financially secure for awhile if something were to happen.
