Thats true, but there's more werewolf manga then this. I'm also guessing you hate vampires.

I'm really surprised by the paucity of werewolves, given all the vampires and other monster-types floating around.

Yeah, I was pretty happy too. Its interesting so far.
P.S; Its Finally. Finale/Finally are similar sounding, and I guess might have a similar meaning, but Finale means like.... a big ending, So its not the correct word to use. (You probably just made a typo, but just in case. XD)

hi,
I'm new here so I'm not totally sure if it's alright to post my question here, but it's about the other works of this author, "Akumetsu"
Is it worse or better than "Wolf Guy"?
I mean gore and sexual content... please tell me! Because I really really liked "Wolf Guy" =D
Thanks for the reply!

There is not any sexual content except for the beginning maybe. Other than that its all story related killings and the most gruesome of stuff is usually tastefully covered up by the artist. Akumetsu is really good and is worth the read.
And to go with this thread THANK YOU. About damn time for a werewolf centered story. Other than Wolf's Rain (If can be considered werewolf, since they were wolfs tricking humans?) I don't believe I have read another good werewolf story.

Ought to be his sibling or some sort

I love this series.
I mean, what's better than werewolfs right? I never really liked vampires. What's so cool about em? They live in giant manors, can make people do what they want by looking at em, act all posh and drink blood from wine glasses (okay not all portrayals are like that)
Werewolves on the other hand are much more primal and brutish, which makes em so much more awesome. Why are there so little werewolve stories?
On a related note. I recently came across a wolf guy anime OAV. Strange thing is, it hailed from way back in 1992, 15 years before the start of this manga.
Now you might think it is completely unrelated, just similar title, but the main character was named Inugami Akira and an Aoshika Akiko. That's a bit much for coincidence. Maybe someone has any idea as to the connection between the two?

It's because werewolves aren't as likely to be bishounen. Or emo.

There is no relation between the two, sorry.
