lol I've such a crapy taste in voice sound...but I guess it doesn't matter if they sing good lyrics and if the song they sing move you...
Geddy Lee: singer of Rush..mostly because it's my favorite band..and they make me start playing electric guitart...but the voice of the singer is so special and belive me I never mistaken it for any other voice...I mean if you are not even able to know for sure, with any doubt, which singer is singing doesn't it make it a little common..

-Maynard James Keenan...a perfect circle...I listen to TOOL too though
-Michael Barnes...RED
though I really have a liking to the voice of Serj Takian..he got some experience and strong voice..

its hard to pick a favorite but i went through my playlist and found out the singer I have the most songs from is "weird al" Yankovic. haha! Second is Megumi Hayashibara.

however, those two singers are minority on my playlist. my collection mostly made up by instrumental jazz, classics, contemporary instrumental (including classics derivatives), and if there is sung music, there would be really oldies singers like Ella Fitzgerald. my old time and still favorites, Sarah Brightman, The Corrs, Michael Buble, John Mayer, and Andrea Bocelli.
