I'm looking for a yaoi where the uke or the seme is madly in love with the other to the point of having their whole life dedicated to them, it can even be somehow twisted.
I don't want the cliche "you're mine" + arrogant face + blushing uke + make love and live happily ever after. It has to have a strong (or light) touch of drama, of desperation. I would also prefer that the two protagonists are manly or at least non feminine or whiny. And a bonus would be that the significant other is at the beginning out of reach for some reason or is not but can hardly show his love to the other.
If you have read any of those: Sakura Gari, Yuutsu na asa or The cornered mouse dreams of cheese then it gives you an idea of the kind of characters and pace I'm looking for
I know I'm picky but please give me some recommandations

Hanamura Ichika is all about the unconditional love but in a very on-the-nose kind of way. Her ukes are not manly, though. I'll leave her name out in the open still, just in case. Some examples would be Kimi no Iru Sekai Shikairanai and the last story in Kimi wa Amai Amai...
Ike Reibun as some of that too, as in ≠ - Not Equal or Bi no Isu (the first story, mafia world + sequel). Now these are manly guys.
Maybe you've heard of this one already but SADAHIRO Mika is also a good option. Her guys are always manly and passionate. I think you can find the unconditional love element in works such as Venus ni Seppun (very disturbing, beware) and maybe the acclaimed Under Grand Hotel? It has some links to it, definitely.
The manhwa Let Dai I think could also fit (again, the protagonists are just high school students). I don't usually recommend it because I think it lacks purpose overall so it just drags on and on, but some bits and pieces of it are quite good.

Ouji no Hakoniwa - Seme works hard so he can return to serving his innocent cute young master. But they've been separated for several years and his young master has changed a lot. Cue confinement by delusional seme. If you like similar stories, try TAKAGI Shigeyoshi's (yaoi pen name: Ogawa Chise) other BL works.
Hana to Ryuu - Protective seme. Kinda graphic (gore-y). Somehow, this one has the most mentally sound seme out of my list.
Mezame no Mori - Read "The Loose Shackle". (The other stories are okay.) Seme spends most of life trying to woo the uke, with a twist.
Tsumuiji ni Kiss - Messed up seme does everything he can for uke (in a messed up way).
Zetsuai & sequel Bronze - Super angsty. Let's just say EVERYTHING is in this couple's way of being together, but they still can't stop loving each other.
I have it bad for male yanderes... xD
