Quote from svines85
Yeah, finally put it on indefinite hold a chapter or two ago, I just couldn't abide yet one more "(fill in the blank again) has been kidnapped! We have to rescue him/her/them!!" arc >_<

Jeez, c'mon guys.

How I wish that I could defend Noblesse but I can't. You are totally correct. Even though I read Noblesse for Rai and Frankenstein, I can't help but say that the story is really annoying lately. Author is taking readers for granted.

Few annoying points from the latest arcs:

1. M-21 could have informed Tao about Kentas before he destroyed his communication device. M-21 had a heck lot of time but he didn't... Obviously author likes M-21 as a stupid hot guy. Fans don't mind though. They are focused on his hot body. Who cares if that guy is dumb?

2. The stupidest race out there as the main antagonists. Maduke as the main villain of this arc. The same guy who has been the stupidest villain so far. He was so genius that he sent 4 WWs to kill Muzaka in an area which he believed was a home to Raskreia (according to his intel), Raizel and few clan leaders....how smart. And now we are having him as the main villain for this arc.

3. Muzaka was able to arrive in South Korea from who knows where but Karias & Rael weren't able to arrive from Frankenstein's island...yeah. Muzaka was contacted more than 36 hours after M-21's disappearance and he was able to arrive but no Karias and Rael. Right...why disturb them in the times of crisis? Let them train...

4. Another fucking kidnapping. Another stupid rescue. Right...noblesse fans don't mind author being repetitive after all.

5. Fights being Dragon Ball Z. Werewolves hardly using their claws. Energy blast everywhere. No fucking logic. Humans in South Korea being blind. No casualties even after the destruction of so many building blocks.

6. (My personal rant): Rai being weak. He's on brink of death or so author likes to hype...season 4 & 5 were completely focused on that yet Rai was able to kill 3 traitor clan leaders, 2 human Elders and fight Muzaka before getting life force from Raskreia. What's the point of hyping Rai's weakness if it's of no use at the end?!? Like with Lagus... Rai was getting thrashed so badly and at the end he was able to defeat Lagus even though it was said that Rai can't defeat Lagus unless he was as powerful when he defeated his elder brother. All the stupid hype for nothing.

Yup, it just is what it is, I'm afraid. This honestly isn't (nearly) the first time for me........I keep seeing shounen titles that look good, read them, enjoy them......and then they just go on, and on, and on >_<

Ah well, whatever. Yup, I've enjoyed this titles quite a bit.......but yeah, I'm just of the school that expect a story to have an ending. There's just only so far characters/themes/concepts can be, or should be, taken before they're brought to a conclusion.

Ah well, if it ever actually does end, I'll probably go back and finish it. It's not like I ever came to actually dislike the content in this one like I did with (just off the top of my head) History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, where, yeah, they just kept stringing it out to such a point that it actually turned into a completely different product, which happens too smile

Definitely dont enjoy it as much as when it first started. Now just a habit, waiting for it to come to a conclusion. Although I have no hopes it will be any time soon. Still got a bunch of villains to kill off and Crombell is still lurking about, so expecting it to drag on for quite awhile yet. dead

Still as mentioned before Frankenstein and Rai still managed to provide entertainment. eyes

Never thought it was that good to start with, but it really has gotten repetitive... at this point I'm only reading occasionally, just to see if/when Crombel makes his move. He's actually been portrayed as a reasonably intelligent (relative to the others, at least) villain so far, so I'm hoping we might actually get a bit of excitement when the time comes to finally confront him.

I could say the exact same thing for the Dragonball franchise. Well, most noblesse fans seem to be women, always squeeling about how hot the guys are & having shipping wars.
