nobody really dies in bleach
there were many battles in bleach between captains, lietanants, sub-lietanants, ichigo's gang, and other squad infintry...
massive explosions, flying sword projectiles, bankais being releases like 83295382598343498 amount of times, shikais being released 390458358935983985 amount of times, and other sci-fi fantasy shit...
so how come nobody got killed in soul society sega either than in stories and flashbacks, or those organization aizen killed off or something....
no big characters got killed, considering they got stabbed, sliced, burned, and cut all over the place, lmao... must have been quite alot of friendly fighting over there... especially with zaraki, kuchiki, mayuri, and ichimaru on the long-run...

Maybe Kubo Tite simply cares too much about his characters. So what if the story isn't credible and he has too many characters around to develop 'em properly. It's his way of doing things, sheesh.
Besides, this should be in Bleach section.

Yeah, you tell him/her, Layhe... mad bigrazz

Well, plenty of Arrancars have died, including former-6 Espada Luppi and Current number 9 & 7, Zommari and Aaroniero... Also some other minor characters...

But who cares if someone dies or not, it's Tite's style and I like it...

A little off-topic: But I think that those Privaron Espada aren't dead... And will become some kind of "allies" later on... Since they seemed... nice, actually... laugh

Is it out already?

Yeah, agreeing with ladyviollet. And all the characters that died (Ichigo's mum, Hisana, Kaien) well, they died in the past, before Bleach started, hm.

simple answer:
It suffers a moderate case of "One Piece Syndrome", where all character deaths are relegated to back stories.

Moderate because villains still die here.

I think maybe none of the cares , because also, most of them may be used for future story arcs?

Manga-ka and authors in general are too concerned over if their readers will be disappointed because of the death of a character. Even if the character should die in all plausibility.

Gantz got really popular because the manga-ka differed from the norm and actually killed off most of his characters. I can think of several others that do that, and they're all Seinen instead of Shounen.

I will be honest in saying that I stopped reading Gantz once kurono (I think that was his name) was killed off. Mainly because he had all the character development that had happened in the manga behind that one character... So when he died there was just very little to no characters that were developed.

It doesn't work as well when killing off a main character. But killing off supporting characters works nicely as long as it makes sense. (It's lame when one person can be returned from the life stream using a phoenix down or something, and another - Aeris, fails to be returned to fit the story.) It takes a lot of suspense out of the manga when the main character (or a supporting character) lies there bleeding to death, and since it is not the final volume it's obvious they won't die.

tell me, what would happen to the manga if you kill all the main characters off in the first volume? The result is bad manga+end.

......It's obvious that these main characters needs to be alive for the story to go alone. Also, the manga would probably lose audience if even some of them were to die.

I prefer manga that kill off a few characters every now and then.. fights are better if you think the characters could die. Theres a limit to how impressive all the ridiculously over-the-top techniques are otherwise. Even N*ruto did it with the
Spoiler (highlight to view)
3rd Hokage (even though it's a law of these kind of stories that the Obi-wan/Dumbledore/sensei characters are always the 1st to go biggrin) and other likeable characters (like the bored examiner dude with massive bags under his eyes) getting killed pointlessly.
And the best ever Kenshin chapter for sheer impact was the wtf-they-actually-killed-a-main-character one...

Not that I dont love bleach, but it would be better if he had the balls to deal with a bit of fan hatred and kill some characters off. It was quite impressive earlier on when Aizen supposedly died, even though he was so annoying in slimy Clark Kent mode that everyone wanted him to die anyway..

The strange thing is that in the anime, Ichigo has actually killed someone in the Bount fillers by now, but in the manga, unless I lost track, he hasn't. It's not one of those manga that moralises about killing every other page, but still, tis a fair difference.

so are people hinting that everyone dies in chapter 304 then?
