I've had glasses for almost a year now. It's probably just a coincidence but, I had to get them about a month after I quit eating vegetables, lol.

I don't really wear my glasses that much (only for driving and going to class) but I really do prefer them over contacts.

I touch my eye a lot, so I can't really have anything on my eye or else it might get messed up. That's also the reason why I don't wear eyeliners and mascaras.

Neither. I hope I never have to. none I think glasses would annoy me, I'd always be losing them, what if they broke, etc. And I've tried putting contacts in before and it's just not a possibility. I can't even put drops in my eyes, so yeah...Hopefully my eyesight stays 20/20.

Do sunglasses count?
More often than not I have to wear sunglasses when I go out, because I have a heriditary eye condition which made my eyes a bit too sensitive to light. Which not only hurts on real sunny days (one of the reasons I hate summer) but it also makes the distance from which I can see things clearly about half of the average person.
It was really annoying when I was in high school and wore my sunglasses while it was cloudy. Stupid people making not very creative comments.
I still get stares when I wear sunglasses on coudy days in public.

On the flipside, I can see much better in lowlight conditions than others cool

I have both. I wear glasses at home and use contacts for other occasions like work, sports or dining out. I prefer contacts, but it feels uncomfortable after wearing them for 6 or 7 hours and I have to put a kind of lubricant eye drops (

Was supposed to go to the eye doctor tomorrow for a check up, but had to reschedule as I don't think they'd appreciate me coughing & sneezing all over everything. (~_~)

I still greatly prefer my contacts (24 years & no problems, yay~) but if I had a good pair of glasses I might wear them sometimes...

I've only ever had two pairs of glasses & the ones I have right now are kind of broken & glued back together. The thing is, I have *no idea* what style of glasses might look good on me! laugh

Same here

except i dont get the uncomfortableness ? maybe its due to the fact I wear soft monthly lenses?? or maybe its the solution you're keeping them in
confused

I prefer contacts on myself, coz i think glasses make me look ugly (always thought my best feature was my eyes and my face is way too weird shaped for glasses) But then some people look freaky when they take glasses off, and I would never suggest they wear contacts dead

so yh.... kinda both, if the glasses have a nice shape and frame

I should use glasses(or contacts) but I don't....

My parents bought one 2 years ago but they are too unconfortable i just can't use them

I already tried contacts..I'm just too clumsy to use them...I lost 3 of them in the washbasin drain while trying to put them in my eye none

I wear glasses sometimes. I've had them for about 4 years, but I never used to wear them and my eyesight got better, but then it got worse and I have to use them to see things farther away now none . I'm about to get contacts though .

Contacts. it isn't that bad putting them in and if you take care of them they aren't a huge hassle.(although I only got contacts because I played football and I couldn't wear glasses in the helmet) when I don't plan on working out or being active I just chill in my glasses but if you are working out it is a lot easier to wear contacts

its so weird to me how so many people picked glasses over contacts. confused contacts are so much easier for me than glasses. they make me look better, dont dig into my face when im hit, and most importantly, they feel comfortable. i never use eye drops for my contacts. eyes its probably cuz i have the soft/disposable type.

I have glasses, but I never wear them. However I refuse to wear contacts because I can't never get over pocking myself in the eye.
