I'm looking for a shoujo, josei or BL romance in which there is some degree of "emotional infidelity", as in:
- A is ALREADY in a relationship with B, but finds romantic feelings growing for C, a new person that has entered their lives, or;
- A finds his/her heart seriously swayed by C, a former acquaintance/lover (not a new person), even though they are already committed to B.
This emotional infidelity should be one of the MAJOR themes of the manga, and should create problems in the already-existing relationship (obviously!). Whether these problems are successfully resolved or not doesn't matter, but problems should arise. It doesn't matter whether A ends up with B or with C, either, as long as emotional infidelity occurred at some point.
The infidelity should ONLY remain at the emotional level, at most. It should never translate to physical/sexual infidelity.
At least 1 of the people involved in this infidelity should be the PROTAGONIST - either in the role of A, B or C, it doesn't matter, but the protagonist must be directly involved.
Strobe Edge is one example. Koishi Tagari no Blue is another (well, there is actual physical infidelity too, but it's in the past, and not with the main couple of the manga - that's just pure emotional infidelity).
Any more like these?
Thanks!

Thanks, comel! But in Cappuccino, there is physical infidelity as well, whereas I am especially looking for emotional infidelity without physical infidelity. Thanks, though!
Edit: Waiddaminute, comel! Sorry about that - on reflection, your rec probably DOES count, not because of the main male character but because of his best friend that felt you-know-what for you-know-who. It still DOES involve the protagonist, and it IS emotional infidelity on that male friend's part, so... Yeah. Even though the male friend's GF knew and still went out with him, so I'm not sure if it counts as 'infidelity' when you deliberately get into a relationship with someone that you KNOW loves someone else, but still, on principle, it was wrong of the guy to use her like that. Formally speaking, it's emotional infidelity, since he agreed to go out with her and should have honored that relationship properly, instead of loving someone else outside of the relationship. So it counts! Thanks!

Lol! You betcha, I love my subtext. Text bores me. I live between the lines.
That said, I just edited my previous comment to correct myself! I think your rec does count, after all. Have a look! <3

I'm not sure if it fits your criteria exactly, but maybe Yurara kinda?

Spoiler (highlight to view)
I think this starts somewhere around volume 2 or 3? Anyway, Girl is in love and in a relationship with Guy, but her split personality/other self dislikes Guy and likes this Other Guy much better (whose feelings are mutual) ;)

Any series that has a serious love triangle. ¬.¬ Like Zettai Kareshi.

Thank you very much! I'll get to H2 and Zettai Kareshi! (I read the latter before, but it's mostly faded in my memories by now... Safe for a re-reading!)
@Alannaeowyn, I agree that the presence of a love triangle makes emotional infidelity more likely, but it definitely does not GUARANTEE it. In fact, in most love triangles in shoujo manga, there isn't emotional infidelity, but just a girl who isn't actually dating either of the guys trying to decide between them, or a guy in the same situation, trying to decide between two girls. The scenario in which someone is ALREADY in a serious relationship and then develops feelings for someone else is actually pretty rare... I think! The other scenario, in which someone is in a serious relationship but still hasn't let go of someone from the past, is more common, but again, not as common as the standard non-infidelity love triangle.
