In shoujo. I know this is a repetitive topic (I have searched this forum and tags as well) so I hope this is okay. I want something that gives suspense and pangs in the chest like Crazy for You, Bokura ga Ita, Sprout, Strobe Edge and Sprout as well as Lovely Complex. I'm searching for those lovable heroines who kind of cry in secrecy; the cute ones you can't help but feel an aching feeling towards. I guess it comes along with the whole unrequited love scenario in all of the manga I've mentioned. I've just finished reading up to the latest of Tonari no Atashi--the mangaka's style is what I'm looking for. I guess Koukou Debut and Cat Street apply as well. Something with childhood friends or when the first love rejects the main girl and suddenly a new rival appears--then his interest is piqued. Love triangles like in most shoujo, i guess--but the pacing should be nice. I've already read most of Nanba Atsuko's works. I'm coming from a sort of bad break up so I want something relate-able I suppose. I hope you can help me. Thank you in advance!

You could try Obaka-chan, Koigatariki.
She starts out obsessed with this one guy (guy A), even though this other guy (guy B) likes her, and it's just when she's beginning to realize that guy A isn't everything she thinks he is and that maybe B is better when A starts to like her. It's a lot about missed opportunities.
It's a bit upbeat, though. For more heartbreaking-ness, try Billion Princess and Chiro Star Project.
They both deal with heartbreak and missed opportunities, but in a more serious way.

You've got to try Kare wa Tomodachi
Its one of my top heartache manga! it is also one of the most depressing manga. you can just feel the main girl's heart pain.

Thank you everyone. I've finished Kimi wa Pet and it's kind of what I'm looking for, but less light-hearted. I'll still take any rom-comedy suggestions though. Oh thanks! I left those two on hold for now but I'll definitely start reading them tonight. Kare wa Tomodachi is what I'm looking for, definitely♥

Chou yo Hana yo : The girl ended up liking Guy B, not Guy A..
I've read all the scanlated chapters and can't even remember being a 'Guy B', so.......wow. Quite shocking.

That one makes a lot more sense. I've dated a twin before and when you can't tell her apart from her sister, it doesn't turn out well.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
So it's definitely been building since that Sensei can't seem to tell them apart.
