My personal favorite is Mars, love the art, the drama, and it's well told. Others that are very good are Hana Kimi and Marmalade Boy. But just from looking at your icon from Kanata Kara (aka From Far Away, very good series but having trouble finding volume 13 at stores), you would most likely like either of the Fushigi Yuugi series by Yuu Watase and Red River.

@barisaxyphone: i already finished red river and hana kimi. hehe. though i haven't read fushigi yuugi, i've already seen the anime, as well as marmalade boy. maybe i'll try the genbu kaiden. 
@neonkitty: oooooh. i've started reading them, they aren't complete.

the sad thing is: i just heard that majority of the websites for free manga reading are closing down soon. how am i supposed to read mangas to my heart's content now??
how bad is that? now, i need money to buy manga. money money moneeeey!!!!

majority of the manga readers don't like fushigi yuugi but hey, it's one of my fave. it's the first anime i've ever watched, my first love actually. i can't believe i even cried like there's no tomorrow when it ended. tsk tsk tsk.
