Did anyone else feel the ending was kinda bad with all the deus ex machina? It felt like the author couldn't think of a legit way for the party to defeat the demon lord so she decided to pull a bunch of miracles out of her arse. Then it's compounded by the hero suddenly producing the destroyed legendary sword as a plot device to rescue sheila. If he really could produce it out of nowhere why didn't he do it in the demon lord's space?.

Although I'm critical of the ending, the overall series was very enjoyable. I just feel that a better ending would've made it more satisfying.

Well it wasn't a bad ending, but it wasn't good either. Somehow felt kind of lacking, It seemed rushed, like the author wanted to simply end the story and didn't want to put in very much effort to do it.
Ending aside Superior was a good enough read.

The way it ended was kind of cliched. The typical: you think the main character is dead/disappeared/has left/etc. but then few years later, a return. It was really rushed with Lakshri and Clive, like the author said. TT__TT I wish that was more extended sad What was REALLY confusing was the wedding, it seemed like the author just thought of it on the spot and rushed everything because Angelica liked Lakshri but he was always the playboy. Their relationship wasn't developed enough for the sudden marriage.

The ending was probably the only thing bad, overall it was good.

That's why the ending wasn't good either smile. It was just a simple ending. Didn't wrap up everything nicely like Fullmetal Alchemist for example, but it didn't leave any open ends either.

yeah. with the four year gap, pretty much anything can happen. Also the part where Sheila came back all of a sudden I was like, wait... how did that happen so quick?

However, its still nice to see them all back together and everyone is happy.

not the best ending, but at least it was not totally open ended.

I'm really happy that it doesn't have an open ending, so I liked it very much. I'm also glad there was a happy end for Sheila and the hero I felt very sorry for him, seeing Angelica and Lakshri getting married even having a child and him being so alone sad Glad that wasn't the case!!

It was a good read, but i was expecting something more interesting in the end i feel the last 2 chap were just not wort the effort put in the whole story... i mean just like that she can overpass the original?and he can save her that easy? embarrassed i have to agree the age gap did save a little the end but the mangaka could have thought a better way to end such a good plot... Overall was enjoyable... smile wink grin

Well, the 4 year time skip allowed him to get out of things easily, if not too cleanly. He probably just wanted a break or to start a new series.
