That may be, there are a couple langages I wouldn't mind learning. but then again I have a need for it. With out the need it is kinda of pointless, fun isn't a big enough justification, but at least a lot of schools offer a couple languages for elective classes. None of the schools I went to had any of the ones I wanted to learn though. It is probably a point of view thing, where I come from it isn't needed and I never grew up with it. where you're from it may be needed and also grew up with it. Kinda like the whole "my religion can kick your religions ass" kind of thing. One of the things that would be a good program to become more widespread through the whole world would be the study abroad program, I had always wanted to do that, but in our area there were 5-10 kids that had done it and all came back in really bad shape. It hasn't been til recently that news of this stuff has actually made its way to the more visible media, but supposedly a lot of American kids have been mistreated through these programs, but I still think its not the majority, and it is still a program worth the time, as long as everyone involved does their job anyways.
