If you consider this post has come from the future (lol), then try Kenkouki - Hi no Kuni Daiteikokugun Kurenai Ikki Tousentai.
P.S. The third chapter in expected in five days hence post from the future.

i dont know what genre'd you like or anything but here are a few that i think look promising
Illegal Rare
Hatsu Haru -this one only has one chapter though
Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari
also, although i have not read it, All You Need is Kill is a newer one that seems like its getting a lot of attention

I'm really disappointed it's not being updated, but I believe it has three chapters out:
Suisei no Gargantia
It's also known in our American world as Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet. The manga itself is actually based off of the anime, which came out first.

"'The lives I've taken will be paid for with my own life.' That's one way to look at it...but it doesn't mean they come back once you die. Lives can also be paid for by the sword; by redeeming yet other lives. That is why 'Hitokiri Battousai' is still alive in the Meiji Era."
don't click this link...

This are the ones that i really love the most these days~
Real Account ((YEAR: 2014))
-> if you're ok with play or die situations~! This one is really good~!!
Soul Catcher(s) ((YEAR: 2013))
-> this one is all about music though. However please do not be discouraged to read this. This manga actually is out of my criteria of types of manga but this one catches my eyes. It's promising story for me.
Unknown ((YEAR: 2013))
-> this one is something i just seen days ago. I'm kinda hooked. It have a good plot so far.
Black Haze ((YEAR: 2012))
-> it may be 2 years ago but this one is reaalllyyy promising. The first chapters is really off(?) or confusing but it will get better. The main male lead is awfully strong in the start so if that irk you.. Don't worry he won't do any flashy move that will beat everyone in one go. It's a webtoon with 47 chapters(?).
Assassination Classroom ((YEAR: 2012))
-> this one is cool too~!! I don't know if you know this already. And since it's in 2012 probably not so new already and it's in hot mangas so... Yeah. Just in case you don't know it. I mean since the cover is so simple if i didn't encounter a fanart in zerochan i'll never know it xD
Hope i have given you some good recommendations in this.
