Mine's Seinen. Usually has a more complex story and deeper characters than shounen.

I'm into romance plots so should have been shoujo...but recently I've been gathering up and reading alot of seinen manga after reading Akumetsu and Bitter Virgin so my vote goes to seinen now biggrin

EDIT: And here's a thread a little similar to this one

definitely seinen. It's more complex and tends to be capable of a broader rage of genres than Shoujo or Shounen. I honestly haven't read very much Josei, so it's hard for me to be absolutely certain, but I like Seinen a lot.

sums it up for me, but it's a little hard for me to find a good seinen series. (and almost impossible to find good josei)

Josei. Not only does it include several of my favorites (Nodame Cantabile, Kimi wa Petto and probably a few others) it has the very few yuri mangas I've ever enjoyed (12 Days being paramount among them) and all the yaoi I've enjoyed for more than just one or two payoff moments.

I like josei when im in the mood to be girly and homosexual, otherwise i'm normally reading seinen. Shonen bugs me nowadays cuz it's so dumb, and shojo usually always bugs me, only on rare occasions do i enjoy shojo romances (ouran high school host club, perfect girl evolution, and othello are some of the few shojo that i enjoyed).

Yeah Seinen for me as well, Shounen cannot usually stand up to Seinen...

Agreed. The stories are also a lot more serious about issues such as morality, life, and death. And the story content tends to be superior to a majority of shounen titles in the same genre.

I have to say Senien, pretty much entirely because of reading Vagabond.

Josei

Just check the list of manga.

http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?genre=Josei&o rderby=rating

There is also a bunch of Seinen I would move to Josie, but that is always hard to judge. smile

Seinen, I love a good story, not bound by cliches (I cant put that thing on my c so its cliche) where characters (yes, even main ones) die, and it has a more mature and complex plot

Seinen, for the same reasons as the rest of the people. If i had a spare vote probably would vote josei too.
