i really like the cinderella type stories, where the poor or ugly or tomboy girl changes through out the series, it doesn`t have to be appearances, like if the girl (or guy) ends up realizing something about herself... i know its pretty specific but... 😀

Maybe try Hana Yori Dango. She grows a great deal in the series (and I mean, she is poor which has a Cinderella vibe...but that is not why I'm suggesting it).

i already read pardise kiss, but stopped like halfway through, i`m not big on revenge.
Hana yori dango was good and i really liked it but i hate the whole rich people snob thing and kept getting angry and yelling at the characters 🙂
thanks!

If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

So I see you like stories that show development through either physically or mentally, eh. (Of course, mostly all manga have 'em) But the ones I can think of that has changes & some romance in 'em are:
Papillon - Hana to Chou - a twin that feels inferior when she's around her sis. & the protagonist believed that she isn't attractive as her sis.
😐 Haha, that's pretty much a givaway 'bout the story now...
Oh, & its by the same creator of Peach Girl so pretty much there's a lot of drama & such.
Mars - a quiet girl begins to open up & fall in love with a boy ...
Kare First Love - a nerdy girl w/ a popular guy & somehow the popular guy is attractive to the protagonist.
Koukou Debut (High School Debut) - a clueless tomboy wants a boyfriend so she ask a popular guy for an advice on how to get a guy.
Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (Kare Kano) - a model student learns to be true to herself ...

Happy (Anthology), I'm not sure about the other stories but I think that the 3rd story fits into the Cinderella description.
Cinderella Fella, there are only two chapter released at this time though.
Aozora Yell, the main character begins to gain confidence and courage to achieve her dream.
Keppeki Shounen Kanzen Soubi, have no idea if this would fit into the Cinderella criteria, but it sure does show how the main character (male) starts to confront his fears. I recommend this, even if it doesn't meet what you're looking for.
Bara no Tameni, the main character, although she's not pretty, she begins to start liking herself.
I can't think of much right now, but when I remember some others I'll post them up. =3
