Haven't really followed what's going on nowadays. Trying not to roll my eyes at this thread, sorry. Kinda reminds me of those circlejerk threads last decade, haha, they were really embarrassing, but still a little bit cute. I don't even know who most people are. The people who I converse with don't really post nowadays. I don't post that much either. Maybe a bit more when I feel like reading more manga. Now I don't really read any, pretty busy doing other equally unnecessary things, like watching anime and playing games. Generally speaking, I always kinda liked the people who seemed the oddest. Not the most embarrassing showoff people, not childishly odd like that, but the ones who were a bit backwards, but still made a point. Not edgy or naive. Not outright ridiculous or awkwardly pompous people. I've seen some good posts every now and then, but I can't remember any names. As long as you make your case and make it reasonable, you're good to go. Kudos to everyone who takes a moment thinking what and why they write and what exactly are they answering to, to who and what kind of a perspective they have. Humble people are also great. I admire them for that quality. That's something I won't be reaching before the day I die. They're generally easier to get along with, since they give my ego some leeway and don't choke on details.

Tripitaka For his fleshed out, well worded posts. He seems to make recommendations left and right and they are always more than just a link to the piece in question. I kinda like the avatar too.

Tripitaka - Everything Baalzebup said (he worded it very nicer than I could, heh) minus the avatar part. Although I your avatar for myself, it does seem very fitting for you.

Yeah, I feel the same way. Her posts more often than not are something that's worth reading and she comes across as a very bright, kind, intelligent, passionate, thoughtful and extremely articulate young person. Plus she always make an effort to make her posts neat and tidy to look at. Major props too for attempting to take on a quite massize task that is Revival of the Educational Manga project. As for your avatar, let's just say it could be better. xD

Also, I've a niggling suspicion that Tripitaka is a female and German.

Oh this is like those MU awards from a few years back~ :3

I admire many, but in particular I greatly admire Gorath for making everyone feel welcome to the forums. <3 His icon is an icon. His voice is legend. His posts are... poetic. :')

/edit: Maybe I should add a reason. Mams is very helpful with homework help.

Gosh, there are so many people... I don't think I could make a concise list for them all. There are so many members here who I've gotten to know, who I have grown to love after talking to them and getting to know them. (:

I admire the people who develop this site! As a beginner Web Developer, I'm too impressed by the functionalities and niceties found on this site! Someday I will be as great as them... hopefully. biggrin

There are too many people for me to list, but they know who they are. We've spoken with each other for about 6 years. It's pretty significant that we still manage to maintain communication with each other for this long.

I went to the trouble of photoshopping glasses onto my avatar for my joke and it's just deleted with out a single world...

That's cold, real cold. I spent 20 minutes choosing the best glasses and they were not cropped.

Also, When there are as many users as there are in here making this kind of circlejerk threads is pretty annoying when looked from the sidelines. I know there weren't bad intentions, but really.

Even so, If I really had to chose, I think Identity Crisis and whatnot are pretty cool, but they don't post much any more.

*sigh*
I would just like to say "You know who your are" isn't the best thing to say. A) If the person you're talking about is really humble they wouldn't think of themselves. B) You may let others think you;re talking about them when your not ... which I guess isn't that bad, until they say something to you in a PM or something. Then there's that "Oh yeah I was talking about you >.>" awkward moment.
Now if you don't feel like naming the person you could always say
- I admire this person (something nice that's unique to that one person)
- I admire this other person (something nice unique to this person)
...
Just saying (But you can write however you want, I was just giving my 2 cents on that).
Thank you for letting others know you admire them, even if it's indirectly.

It's okay you can roll your eyes. I made this thread when I was in a very good mood, and at other times I would gag at how fluffy my posts can be ... laugh
But still I love to make people smile, even if I can't see it knowing they that they possible did is good enough.

Back to another addition to my list. (randomly picked again)

InsanityProvider - Mostly for how you use proper grammar, and spell correctly. Your posts are enjoyable to read.

Felinz - I like your taste preference in Yaoi >.< (based of your threads asking for suggestions).

caozhi - for knowing so much about Yuri.

TofuQueen - I love reading your posts. As soon as I see your name I gasp and want to read the post asap.

Mamsmilk - The impression you give. Based off your avatar, and your posts. I'm not sure how to phrase it right now, but I like your style.

Badkarma - Like I've said in another thread I like the way you write. When I read your posts It's almost like your talking to me in person. (If this makes any sense).

More to come some other time.

EDIT-
In response to the two replies below me. biggrin (smile is for both of you)
LawX I meant it more like if you guys were talking in PM's and it got brought up.
Scyfon that made me laugh.

2nd EDIT in response to post #628770
Ouch.
I have to express myself, as I have every right to, just like you do. I had to to give my 2 cents, but my comment was more for the people who don't have quotes from other members in their signature. (Which I just now noticed O.o ... I know I can be blind, but wow. I digress).
(Quick sidenote I want to slap myself for using the word like in that sentence.)
Oh, and reason for the 1st edit was because I thought I didn't make my comment clear enough, and wanted to clarify it a bit in case you misinterpreted it.
I guess that was the other thing, since I like to try to make myself as clear as possible so get the right meaning, I felt that saying "you know who you are" is very vague and who you're trying to secretly tell this too may not know it's for them.
(But you are right it doesn't concern me, but I would still encourage others to say things clearly.)
I could go more into how you should always express your feelings towards someone. When you have the chance to (you know life is short and such), saying your kind feelings towards others out loud is a good (for lack of a better word) thing.

Ehh, didn‘t she say that she‘s just giving her 2 cents about it, so why would you reply to her like that, huh..
