(Wonder if the title is misleading.)
I'm looking for a manga where Art plays a major role to the plot. When I mean art, I refer to the study of it. Something like Pink Lady.
Art in the sense of drawing, painting, where anything artistic is a common interest.
Not something like Hakuji where the leading male character is an artist, meeting with a woman under the pretense as using her as an art subject. . Not like that.
I preferred it be Shoujo, but I really want Art to play a big role. Like two artists, or an artist and an art critique.
Help me? ><

Honey and Clover seems to fit what you are looking for. It's about 5 art students going to college trying to find out who they really are and trying to finish school along the way so that they can join the "real world". It is really good and if it is not exactly what you are looking for in this post you should still check it out.

See you in Eden
It reads like a journal. I really like this one.
Honey and Clover
This one is really good, too. I watched the anime though.

Well, as much as I like Mars, it's pretty much what you said you aren't looking for to a T.
Closer is See You in Eden and The Rainbow Fish, both loosely autobiographical, the latter being more autobiographical. See You in Eden is about a girl at art high school, and The Rainbow Fish is about Souryo's growth as an artist.
Also:
Momonchi: A lovely slice-of-life seinen about a girl attending art school.
Hidamari Sketch: A rather moe series about a girl attending art high school.
Sketchbook: A very slice-of-life series about an art club and a quiet girl who loves to draw.
24 Colors: A romance about an art club.
And I second Honey and Clover, of course.

GA - Geijutsuka Art Design Class - Well, not really sure since there is only one chapter out. There is an anime too.

Haha thank you so much! I've read a bit of Mars, I knew there had to be some manga out there. I'll be sure to read them, thank you!
