Quote from Dr. Love
Ahem... *points at nick* I am a Doctor, you know...

Though in all seriousness, you're interpreting me in a wrong way. I find Japanese people interesting. That doesn't mean I want to dissect them. They give the appearance that they have a different perspective on life (combined with different values), hence why I'm interested, and I'd like to know more. I find all kinds of people interesting. Sorry, if that offends you, dear sir/ma'am. laugh

Actually, I'm bi myself. There is more to me than meets the eye.

Yeah, sorry for missing out on your nickname. Surely your expertise shouldn't be something to trifle with.

Anyway I just felt your comment was a little "clinical". cool I would not compare the interest I have for Japanese people to the one I have for homosexual fellows, as they exist within the former. However I see what you mean, it's only that to me gay people are quite normal and therefore aren't any less or more interesting that anyone you would meet on the streets.

I understand the argument behind the usage of the word gay, but what confuses me is the argument behind the word retard. If I'm not mistaken, retard is actually the correct term you should use. It just seems like people don't use it because it sounds bad, kinda how like you could call a Jewish person a Jew, and it still sounds bad even though it's the correct term.

I could be wrong about all this though. What do you guys think?

I have no problem with people who are gay what so ever.

I say that but it depends on the person.
Since my ex was gay when we were going out and I didn't know and he was too much of a heartless bastard to actually say anything about it. Its kinda annoying since I will always hate him for it, he refuses to admit he hurt my feelings thinking I treated him bad (I thought I was a really good girlfriend O.O) and he didn't do the right thing when he no longer attracted to me (complete bumhead ¬¬)
I think that is the only time I have ever had a problem with someone being gay and it wasn't even that it was because he was a dick ¬¬

It doesn't really bother me otherwise, as long as they are happy and aren't doing anything that's against the law then I'm fine with it.

I'm reminded of a relatively new episode of South Park this season, named "The 'F' word" ... in which the word 'fag' is redefined away from the homosexual connotation and changed to reference annoying Harley-riding attention-seeking bikers...

That was quite amusing. =)

"I'm happy just being with you, so what should it matter to me what you do in bed with guys?" laugh

I think it's discrimination, which I cannot stand, but I wouldn't fly into a rage about it.

As for my friends... They are way beyond caring about things like transvestites or being gay. Some of them are anyway, and I'm fine with that.

I have nothing against homosexuals. Gays don't fancy every men, just like straight men don't fancy every women. I know few gays, but it doesn't really affect anything.
