Basically I'm just looking for main pairings where the male is older/more mature than the female lead. But I don't want a whiny, obnoxious female either, she has to be strong, or at least loveable. I prefer a relationship where the male is gentle and caring towards the female.

E.g. Kurosaki and Teru in Dengeki Daisy, though he isn't always a gentleman, his attitude towards her is actually really sweet. Tae-woong and Bora of Snow Queen. Or even Manabe and Yuri of Shuukatsu -- Kimi ni Naitei.

I know that there is this thread -- but I've already read most of the recs there, is there anything that people could add to the list :3?

Living Game - definitely what you're looking for. The female is young and charming and the main character is endearing. 10 Volumes worth of a sweet story about a man finding his niche in life. It's a seinen but it's nice.

Koi Kaze also seemed to fit the description but I haven't read it all to know if it's any good or not. The characters are adorable though.

Blood Alone (a great manga imo)
Shi ga Futari wo Wakatsu Made (hm, kind of, the main lead isn't exactly your gentleman, but he does care for the girl...)
Red Eyes (heh, same as above, but there's lots of killing involved, don't know if you prefer that, and the relationship is kind of weird, you'll get it if you read it 🙂 )
Vampire Juujikai (maybe, well he is older than anyone else in the manga and cares for pretty much everybody...)
Black Cat (the second male lead has a "gentleman's code" so to speak, and they take care of a girl, but the manga overall is pretty cliche imo)

I second Blood Alone! That totally fit your criteria!
Red eyes is epic but I doubt that it's your thing. But it's still the best mangas out there!

Godchild - Cain's the caring (hot) bigbrother and Merryweather's the lil sister
Sugar family - Highly recommended. A big brother with a Sister complex. (their relationship kinda reminds me of Tamaki and Haruhi from Ouran)
Karakuri Odetto- I will Srsly EAT you if you simply MISSED this EPIC manga.
