Blade of the Immortal is a good samurai manga.
Eden has a lot of action, but not really focused on fighting.
Angel Densetsu is a good action/comedy manga, but really more focused on comedy aspect.
Flame of Recca is a decent and fairly lengthy action shounen series.
Trigun is pretty popular and plenty of action.

tokyo crazy paradise is 19 volumes and about a girl who is a bodygaurd for a yakuza boss with of course fighting involved.

Well, I only pick up manga that has potential to be ongoing for 15+ volumes. So far in Historie, not much time has passed, and Eumenes' life isn't going to be settled under 15 volumes. It's impossible.

And Blood Alone, the story is just scratching the surface. The potential for a long ongoing series is there.
