1. when i was in thirth grade, i think she was my "arch" enemy..you know the good old times when it was girls vs boys in school

2. was a friend's friend at a school party in ninth grade. I think she was a bit drunk but it still counts right?(theres always alchole in a teenage party)

some japanese guy i had on msn (don't ask me how he got my email adress, cause i don't know myself)
but anyway, he started explaining my feelings through a pic of mine, and he said he loved me, even made me a poem and such
so when i said I liked someone else he got really mad at me!
he was so pissed off
so i blocked him
and then my msn started acting weird and unblocked him
so he started over and over confessing.
so then he asked: do you still like that guy, i said no.
he got mad again. 'I waited so long for you, and now i have a girlfriend and you don't like him anymore, please go out with me ,blablablaaa'
and then i blocked him again, end of story
that was really the creepiest guy I ever knew xd

I don't know if it counts as a confession per se, but when I was going to college, I ended up tutoring a fat greasy guy about ten years older than me. I kept getting these emails from him asking if I wanted to hang out at his apartment. He told me I could use one of his Final Fantasy online accounts to sweeten the deal. Never went because the dude was a total creeper.

Other than that, I was hit on in the manga section of a Barnes and Noble by an even fatter greasy guy.

And back in high school, there was this one underclassman that kept staring at me in the hallways, holding doors open for me, and sitting next to me on the bus when there were perfectly good seats completely vacant. During the entire time he did this, he never uttered a single word to me, not even conversationally. I actually don't know if he liked me or not, to be honest.

Uhm, I think I've been confessed to 6 times.

The Cutest: We were little, and this one boy that lived next to us came over a lot with his brother to play video games and stuff (his mom and my mom were really close), and we happened to be playing outside that day while his brother went to a different friends house. He picked a flower for me, confessed that he liked me a lot, and gave me a kiss on the nose. It was so adorable! (:

The Stupidest: This guy came up and confessed to me as a joke in middle school, in front of everyone like the jerkface he was. I, of course, said no.

The Longterm: The longest "relationship" that was lead on by a confession was in the beginning of first grade. He confessed after giving me a penguin ring (he was a year older), and we "went out" for a long time. That doesn't really count, since we didn't really go out, I guess. We called each other and stuff. XD

The Funniest: My friend was hanging out with me, and we were walking to her house (staying the night). She randomly burst out, "If I were a lesbian for a day, I would totally go out with you." I said I would too, and we held hands like idiots the rest of the way to her house. Best non-serious confession ever.

Never ....i'm quite an unpopular guy...though popular enough for girls to come to me crying about their unfortunate relationships -_-

The most awkward was by a number of people in the duration of a relationship
I was in at one time.
By guys I hung out with... They've always been affectionate and what not,
but they knew I was already seeing someone...
That didn't stop them from declaring things like "I like you, let's go out".
I didn't want to stop hanging out with them, and so they kept persisting...
Nothing came out of it in the end (for them), and that boyfriend and I had
parted ways after a while.

I don't regret anything. =)
But it was pretty awkward.

But the last time is simply memorable, I was doing, or rather trying to do some crosswords, while going home on bus with a classmate. Sometimes I would ask her what she thought was the word. At some moment she just replied very quietly that she liked me then I closed the book, and she simply asked me to continue what I was doing and not to close the book. It took me four days to give her a straight answer, not cause I didn't like her but since we were classmates/friends it was hard for me to just say yes or no.

Do they really do it that abruptly in Japan? Is it less likely to happen to me because I'm a guy?

Usually, I ended up dating someone after knowing her for a while, being friends, spending some time together, then getting closer... More of a gradual thing. I did once ask a girl for her phone number after the first time I met her. Seems to have worked; we're in our third decade of marriage.
