Claymore has lots of female fighters. There's also Gunslinger Girl - if trained assassins count as 'girls who can fight'.

I haven't read any of your examples, so I don't really know what suits your tastes. I just recommended different types.

Black Lagoon--Revy is just badass. Its all out action though don't expect romance.

Angel Beats--best anime of the 2010 spring season

Soul Eater has a great female lead who kicks butt, although it's occasionally, especially early on, rather ecchi (not near so much later). I also agree that Black God is a great choice.

1/2 Prince - the girl can fight (sword), in an MMORPG, but she's posed as a guy. I would recommend it. Dunno if it fits, though
Bloody Cross - girl's a vampire, and it is an action (at least I think it is). Ought to count for something.
Psyren - Does supernatural powers count?
Shitsurakuen - shoujo-ai, and sorta about supernatural-ish. Don't really know if it counts.
Ping - everyone in this manga knows martial arts. Shounen and ecchi
Avatar: The Last Airbender - everyone's bending is based off of a style of martial arts. It's not really manga, though, and the "anime" shows off the martial arts the best.
Tista - trained assassin. No martial arts, though
Tokyo Crazy Paradise - Action. Shoujo, though, but the girl does know how to fight.

She gets introduced later on, but she becomes one of the main characters. She is very, very strong. Pretty much 2nd or 3rd place in relation to the main character. And there is a female demon who is probably stronger than the main character.

Change 123 should fit that.

Unsure of the series you referred to, but Change 123 basically deals with a somewhat weak guy (but with a Kamen Rider sense of justice, yeah!) who meets this one girl with multiple personalities, each one with her own extreme fighting style. It's a bit ecchi, the art is great, the fighting is great and it's pretty funny too.

The Kidnapping of Minja Jo's Boyfriend, definitely.
Otomen and W Juliet to a lesser extent.

Immortal Rain - Female lead is a teenage assassin who wields a scythe and is actually quite capable with it.
Hiiro no Isu - The Scarlet Chair; Female lead is extremely capable at hand-to-hand combat because she makes a living off of it in a small town.
