The underwear thief was actually a girl. She didn't mind stealing other people's toothbrushes if she forgot her own at her boyfriend's place; she didn't mind stealing my panties, either, when she didn't wash her own for weeks and ran out.

I'm ashamed to say that while I was mostly grossed out, I was also somewhat intrigued.

After all, she knew I was a dyke and she still stole my underwear... Could I be blamed for taking it as a declaration of interest?

Well, anyway. The moral of the story is: "Do Not Steal An Otaku's Underwear, Unless You Wish to Be Regaled With Anime Catchphrases."

One phrase/sentence that got repeated so often I still remember it (but it's not a fave) is Midori's "yume no you desu/ it's like a dream" from Midori no Hibi.
