All martial arts are brutal, as that is the main purpose of their existence.
However, since a bunch of styles come from Pancraetion, I will say that.

In terms of brutality I would say Muay Thai...
Yeah muay thai is brutal but last time I saw a Capoeira-fighter and that was REALLY brutal! He was fighting against a muay thai and what surprised me was that the muay thai dindt even get the chance to attack!

Do you mean empty handed Martial Arts? Because Kendo is also a martial art.

Capoeira is more effective since they're flexible...but you're just asking for just the sheer brutality of a martial art so I still say Muay Thai...their use of elbows and knees is really brutal and if they do hit they hurt way more than Capoeira... They sometimes even use barbed wires for the ring ropes

Where did you hear that?
And if it is brutal you want, how bout Old Style Boxing, as in wrapping your fists with leather straps as the only thing of protection?

Yeah, there's also boxing...I watched fight science and they said the sheer force of a boxers' punch is equivalent to a sledgehammer....

I don't really know if I could say which style is more brutal, but Shaolin style kung fu is pretty brutal. So is Jujitsu

I'd say some martial art with mixed origin like sambo.
(On the general basis of brutality, street fighting is usually the bloodiest even without weapons )

Sambo is insane.
But yeah street fighting is far more brutal. In all martial arts for sport, there are no eye gouges or fishhooks... so yeah

lol you saw it too? XD they say that a professional boxer's punch can deal more damage than a muay thai pro's kick... i think i remember that guy's punch had the force of a car crashing at 35mph?
anyway as for brutal i'd say cholita wrestling is the most brutal i've ever seen... they beat each other almost to death. crazy.
*correction: muay thai guy's kick has the force of the car crashing at 35 mph. but the boxer's punch is stronger. but mixed martial arts seems to be the most... damaging. as strong as a specialist in punching, kicking, and grappling. look up fight science on youtube.

I vote for Krav Maga. It's taken bits and pieces from dozens of other forms of fighting, discarded all the useless flashy stuff and philosophical BS, and been refined into a method for straight-up beating the crap out of people. It's a combat martial art used by combat professionals.
Kendo is a sport. Kenjutsu is a martial art.
