Edit:it's getting a bit generic.
I might've preferred that the MC was actually a normal person (at the start they tell us his parents weren't from this world). As we're explained after he would've eventually gotten stronger (he has a way to increase his mana pool) quite fast.
But what I really liked is how realistic and erratic the MC is. I mean not that a average teen would do better in this setting (most would go a bit mad or depressed from leaving their environment). He doesn't either try to f*** any random being that tried to kill him on sight when they first met.
Also since his morals aren't developed wet he sometimes feels guilty and tries to help but ends up wreaking havoc.
(I really hope it doesn't turn into truly to impose his "superior morals" onto everyone like most -jap. novels)

While it could be seen as the typical isekai story with an OP MC, I think it does a pretty good job at keeping things interesting. The only thing that bothers me is there’s no deep explanation about the MC’s power. But I think it’ll explain in later chapters. Also normally I’m not into romantic relationships with the MC but I wish there was at least something. Like there’s not even much romantic comedy cause those scenes just end so fast.
Despite this I really like it and wish it updated more frequently.

The isekai trope, with a bit of a twist.

The isekai trope, with a bit of a twist, the OP kind of MC, but at least you know he is not the most powerful spirited away around and they will probably clash in the future.
The characters are likable, and the pacing is kind of fast but not rushed. One manga to look forward to.
EDIT:
EDIT 2 after 5 years: I came to like this too much, this is currently the series that i look forward the most.

I like this manga it's off to a good start. I love how the gods acted. This reminds me of Forsaken Hero only vastly lighter aND with more comedy. I can't wait to see what's next. Hopefully it doesn't devolve....
Well I,ll wait and see.

Your typical isekai manga with the small twist that the goddess kinda screws him, still, he gets an awesome power from other god, is OP from the get-go and the curse of the goddess is soon circumvented. I like it how it started with him gaining non-human followers but soon it got to go into him dealing with humans and all I can say is it's becoming more and more generic, I would have preferred him as a hero of the non-humans or even neutral and not enemy of the demons but I don't think that's where the story is going. It's been a decent read but I recommend readers to not expect anything neither new nor particularly good about it.
As for the chars, the MC is not bad but a bit boring and he gets pulled into lots of situations thanks to Tomoe and Mio, which are by the way interesting chars, specially Tomoe, she looks dumb but isn't. The other heroes are kinda interesting too thou their story and chars have only barely been presented so far.
In short, it's too soon to tell, so far it's been a decent read and I can see it well as easily as I can imagine it going badly.
Edit (ch 75):
After some interesting parts about the other heroes and a war, the story has gone into a long strech of mostly slice-of-life chapters, there are eventually some relevant content but if the author keeps this much longer this will get boring fast, he seems to be taking his time to create some connections among many of the characters, which is welcome but he's taking it a bit to far imo with stuff like Mio learning cooking and such.
As a whole it's a mildly interesting story kept somewhat engaging mostly by Tomoe and the big amount of relevant cast, the MC is still somewhat bland thou.

Honestly, this rarely happens, but the manga is a lot better than the novel. This is mainly because the pacing is different and we skip a lot of crappy details and those annoying scenes can be read very quickly, the irritating parts of his personality are also not as noticeable as it is when reading it in the novel format. It's a very enjoyable read with spirited characters and good jokes. Monsters everywhere and a mc that is just WAY too OP right from the start.

This one starts with a twist, and it's actually a pretty good twist founded in the vain goddess' twisted personality. And better yet, her personality isn't cast into a bubble: it has affected the laws, societies and wars fought by the various peoples and races in the world she's supposed to protect, for both good and bad. It feels plausible and grounded.
Thus, when the MC manages to survive and aim to advance his goals within this new world, we often see the world as an extension of how messed up the goddess is. Even the replacement heroes, and what happens to them, is an extension of this.
So why am I emphasizing this so much? Because most things are layers deep in this way.
The MC is partially traumatized and insecure, all while trying to figure out how to exist. The monsters who support him have depth to their personalities, as they genuinely want him to live well. But not everyone gets it right and bad things do happen.
Every character, from side ones to main ones, have their own personal motivations and reasons for doing things. Sometimes they're good reasons, sometimes not, but they exist and, like in reality, aren't perfect.
The biggest drawback so far is pacing: the story does suffer when the world building becomes too extensive as this slice of life section has been going on for a long time and all we're still seeing is connections being built.
Don't get me wrong, the slice of life part is solid—and I'm enjoying it—it's just not as entertaining as when the plot gets moving, and there's already so much ready to go.
And the politics on all sides of the war have their own complications, and that's not even mentioning a lot of the non-political motivations that are affecting the war, too.
As a result of all this, the world feels like a moving thing where stuff happens in the background.
It's definitely worth a look.

I think this is the best isekai manga i have read till now. The story is very good. The character development is great too. I am in love with the character of 'MIO' she is the best character but others like misumi, tomoi and ema are good too.
