Description

When i was waiting for the new Bleach chapter (and all the other manga's i read) to come out i saw that Tite Kubo wrote Zombie Powder before Bleach. I read all the chapters in 1 day it's pretty good and funny too,sometimes even better than Bleach. I hope he picks this up again if he finished Bleach i like too see how it ends.
At first, I thought it must be some weird rejected story with I probably wouldn't like. But then, as I surfed through four volumes in a day and actually laughed out loud (causing some of my friends to look over at my desktop quizzically)...I found it to be better than, if not almost as great as, Bleach. Don't get me wrong. Both series are awesome. I would love to get more of ZP. But, Gamma is definitely much goofier than Ichigo!!
Too bad it got discontinued... Quite a good manga, though... And Gamma's way better looking than Ichigo! Yay!
This is 10 X better than Bleach. Zombie Powder is the series I wish Tite Kubo would have experienced massive success on. 1st of all, very interesting premise. The rings of the dead, Gamma's background and the action is light years ahead of Bleach which is sad considering it came 1st. I'm a huge fan of the fact that Kubo actually kills people in this manga...I absolutely deplore Bleach's use of swords and deathblows and yet none of the good nor bad characters ever die..they just power up within seconds. Zombie Powder has interesting characters (Gamma is awesome as is Wolfina). Great read..not perfect (since the series was stopped prematurely. it never quite builds a strong story arc) but fantastic for those looking for a good manga read.
I didn't know what to expect when I heard about this series at first. The concept and the story is a whole lot better. Unfortunately the series got discontinued. This is the series that should have went on.
This one really had a lot of potential. I can't believe the author dropped this for Bleach. Don't get me wrong though, I really enjoy reading bleach, however, this one had so much more I wanted from it. It drew me in and then spit me out without giving me anything else. Argh, I really can't believe this -_-.
I read somewhere that this was "dropped" because Tite Kubo had a mental breakdown or some such and thus couldn't continue it. I read this from three random places so either it's not a very well-known fact or those three places are jerking my leg.
if anyone noticed Grimmjow was based of Gamma besides that....
I really found this manga very entertaining in all aspect for certain people i usually got confused on some parts like how people got the powers and all but its worth reading to bad it ended shortly very funny manga too story quality is good ^_^

I like Bleach as much as the next guy (maybe less nowadays), but this manga is so much more fun to read! And the characters are much more interesting. For the short run that it had, I would rank this with Naruto. Kubo really should have finished this. This has also ruined Bleach for me because I know what the writer is capable of but isn't delivering. I may never read Bleach again even though I have gotten so far into it.
