Really. I appreciate the fact that she doesn't fall for him at first, but when she does, she becomes (as someone else mentioned) a doormat for him. She's like a servant for him - one who does it willingly and without pay - to the extent that I want to shake some sense into her!!! He doesn't even lift a finger to help! And before their relationship, he had so many casual ones!! Their married life will only end in disaster if they ever do get married. Unless the girl is a masochist and enjoys being a slave for him. One of the worse I've read.
Don't know what all the bad comments are about; this series is average if nothing else

Well personally I think some of these comments have been pretty harsh. Sure, Haru cleaned up for him once a week but it was her choice and she did it because she cared for him. Is that so wrong? Sure, it might have been better if she moved on, but this is kind of the manga's premise? Sagiri didn't treat her like his own personal maid (like so, so many other shoujos) and appreciated what she did. He spent time with her as a friend when his work was finished too.
The way the plot developed was quite interesting; after the first chapter it was like they were going out in everything but name which was nice as many shoujos end right after the two have confessed and become a couple. Sagiri is a descent boyfriend/guy in terms of the shoujo world too.

I don't know if it's the translation or the way the author really wrote it but daaaaamn, the dialogue!! The dialogue!! It was painful.
I understand that when something gets translated, it doesn't exactly capture the meaning of what was said in the original language but daaaamn. I also understand that not everyone are poets or writers, and translating is hard but still, daaaaamn.
Maybe if read in the original text it would be better, not that I'm not grateful to the scanlators, it's just that the dialogue is so painfully wooden and so literal, I was like "Whuuuut"
I'm usually a sucker for premises like this one, childhood friends, yadda yadda, hot guy who isn't a total jerk, girl isn't completely pathetic, those kind of tropes...but...ugh...
The art was okay, the premise was okay, nothing new other than she's, what?, half his size? Usually I'd love heroines like the one in this manga but nothing endeared her to me (her lines didn't help either)...usually, I'd also be okay, not in love, but okay with male leads like Sagiri mostly because the girl doesn't have to do all the chasing and the guy already loves the girl.
By the end of chapter 1, I was debating to read on. I did because, hey, four chapters, might as well, right?
It gets better by chapter 2...like other comments say, the plot is simple, the characters are cute in their own way.
A light shoujo read.

Haru is cute but to fall for Sagiri it was just disgusting. Sagiri just seemed like a fake, excuse for a man. And his taste for a girlfriend, Reina just prooves how sleazy he is. Anyone who would date Reina would be just gross. The only redeeming factor for this story was that Haru doesn't give in to Sagiri that fast, although her putting up with being his doormat was annoying.
frikkin cute as hell

i didnt like her inferiority complex a lill is ok but she got it to another level, thought it was just a small matter... Overall is a good story, i get easily tired of shojos but this one was short and long enough to enjoy it.
ok

Would have been better if she hadnt spent years being his maid while he got to be with other girls. The story would have been perfect if a sweet guy falls for her and Sagiri has to fight for her, but no all he does is snap his finger and the girl goes running. the girl was nice and all but would have been better if she was stronger...
totally cute

It's a simple love story but the way it's written is the one that makes this story cute. I love it and definitely recommend it for those who like Venus Capricio. This is shorter and much cuter IMO
recommended!

The plot is simple, and the characters are very cute!
Art:
Nishikata-sensei's work is amazing as usual. I love her drawing style, which is crisp, sharp and light. Not too detailed, but clean and nice. In a way, it's slightly different from other shoujo styles.
