Ok, I waited until it was fully scanned to comment. I have to say that I really liked the story, and the art was gorgeous. I'll definitely buy this if it's ever licensed in English.

There is some measure of shojo cliche found, but it's not nearly so annoying as many others I've read, and it has the bonus of being short (but long enough to tell the story), therefore not being repetitive or too cliched. Lys may not have known what was obvious to the rest of us, but she's not an airhead. She probably fits best into the "overly optimistic heroine" category, but she does evolve a bit, as do some of the other characters. There are far worse more cliched stories around to read (or avoid).

This is one of the best fantasy shojo stories I've read. It's romantic, it's believable, and the ending fits without feeling rushed or thrown together unnaturally. I really liked it, and I think others looking for a short, sweet romance story (with a really bishie guy) will like it as well.

okay first i'd like to say, Chlorophyll has a point, even if it is rather hostile and poorly backed up.

i agree the main heroine still has that typically shoujo air of incompetence/vulnerability. But i have to contradict what Chlorophyll said about Love Monster. On the contrary, Hanatsukihime has much more substance then Love monster, which was the epitome of fan service. Also I should add that you probably shouldnt criticize if you've only read the first chapter.


overall i think this is super cute, the art is definitely amazing, though i wouldve liked to see a few more chapters, but it's current length is good too.

This is a pretty good manga so far and it's nothing like love monster.
[Seriously every time I see a manga with a demon or w/e, why do people keep comparing it with love monster..? If your like that then you need to read some more manga...]I can't wait to know what happen next. >_<

OMG I cried too when I read this 4th chapter @_@ I am too emotional this is a shame! but lool yeah this manga is really great : the story is original and the art is wonderful (I love how the mangaka draws Lys's hair ^^)... this will be a great and touching story, especially after reading this 4th chapter ^^ a wonderful adventure ! about Lys character, I don't really think she is that silly, I mean she seems young, doesn't she? she is just a child !lol

By chapter four, this manga has made me cry! Jeez! Maybe i'm just a sucker for these type sof stories ^^", but anyways. I think this story has such great potential, and i can already see what the climax may be..we just gotta wait till it gets there! But I'll gladly wait cuase this manga is just a delight to read~! And i do think that this is a story with sweet and pure characters that you just wanna cuddle up to! It's not at all cheesy or stupid in my opinion..

So far this manga has got it all: Action,comedy,a hint of romance, and tradgedy. It's a pretty good start for a manga! I can't wait to read more of it.

This manga is simply great.I love the exquisite art and the fact that the heroine is not another idiot struck by love; she actually has a reason to be inlove with Siva and to care for him. The story is juat at the beginning so I can't say yet how it will evolve, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Note: this manga has nothing to do with Love Monster(which is btw the only manga I've ever dropped, too ecchi for my taste, not enough story).

The art and plot to this is great, and unique too.
I also love the fact that she isnt a dumb idiot who is stupidly in love, she genuinly cares for Siva, which is fantastic.
i also love the fact of how subtly Siva's feelings are based.
straight up to one of my fravourite mangas. cant get enough of it.
a must read for the Shoujo fans. X

Like this one very pretty art and interesting story too. It seems all Hibiki Wataru's work is amazing even though i guess she's a newcomer. I hope the scanlation will continue cos i really want to read it

I don't think it is anything like Love Monster - which I find irritating. The girl seems to have a pureness, unlike the girl from Love Monster who was always being touched ^^;;;; by other boys.

I love this story~ I think it is really sweet, and the devil is hot. They have a tender love that goes beyond that of some dumb manga. The main guy (devil - Siva) is someone who deserves respect, and the girl is not some bimbo idiot-- she is 15 and has a pure heart. She does whatever she can for Siva and considers him irreplaceable.

Siva is quiet, but we are starting to see his feelings for Lys... he probably followed her at first because she has his heart, but the reader can see that she has melted his heart. Some may say that he follows her for his heart, but his reactions to her hugging him and showing emotion can not be mistaken for anything -- it is love.

To the people who have given it lower marks - how can you tell after one or two chapters what it is? It wonderful and a delight to read.
