i luved the angst and i m not a huge angst fan XD
the story was sweet and the art was good, even the dated fashions werent that bad.

I ignored the reviews that said Ace was a horrible character because I've read such comments before and came to the conclusion that a majority of the time people will make a character sound worse than they actually are. But holy crap! Ace is almost unbearably hard to stomach. He uses black mail and throws temper tantrums to get what he wants. He's possessive, whiney and an all around tyant hidden behind a cutsey boyish mask. And the worst part is it gets worse as he gets older throughout the manga. There's no lesson to be learned (at least not for Ace), the characters become more and more hypocritical and there's pretty much 0 character growth. I know I'm not the only one that was hoping Ace would die somehow in the end. Sheesh.

I'm a big fan of the mangaka so I had high hopes for this one, but it really didn't do anything but help my boredom for about an hour or so. Boo.

I am here to congragulate Ace who has succeeded in winning the unofficial most masturbated in a series award! He has masturbated for a total of about 8 times (*claps* I have never met a character that has broken that record)

I didn't care that much for the characters, even though I really do like vampires. Also, it was kinda annoying how the story ended. Guess I prefer many of her other titles, instead.

Liked it...kinda. Maybe it could have been better. Some people hate Ace, I didn't really pick up on that, but yeah, I guess if I think about it, he was annoying at times. King and Jay, mostly King, raised him to be a spoiled brat though. The one that I would hate, if I really heated any of them, would be Jay, So, now that I think about it, and after reading another comment, I think the first volumen was much better. I think the mangaka wasn't able to live up to what she had created in the first volume.

Omg! I just wanted to slap Ace! He needed way more character growth! He went from an immature, selfish, narrow-perspective boy to an immature, selfish, narrow-perspective adult. King was an interesting character, full of promises of depth and complexity, as was Jay. But their story or even their characters themselves were never explored. Lots of plot holes--what about Ace's parents?! Like that wouldn't be a huge issue--the very reason why these two vamps were raising Ace...

Anyway, the art is beautiful and story was plotted well--full of intrigue, suspense and sexiness--in the first volume, but the second volume was extremely disappointing.

I could've done without the jheri curls/Whitesnake look. Even in the 80s, I wasn't young, stupid, or blind enough to think it was hot, and I certainly don't think it's hot now. Still, the story has its moments of (superficial) angst and, hey, I didn't absolutely hate the characters. (It would've been nice, though, if this *yaoi* story didn't pretend that poking holes in necks with sharp teeth = hot sex.)

I guess it was kind of different, getting off on biting and all. I was kind of 'meh' with this manga to be honest. It wasn't bad but it wasn't overall amazing either, kind of '2-D' in the sense. Not much too it other than lust. The characters were also sort of bland.

I would suggest to stop reading it after Volume 1. I found the series after that to be kinda... boring. It was so dramatic and so "I love you, Jay!" that it turned me off. I stopped after chapter 6. I couldn't read the rest.
