Basically, people are saying that this manga is perfect except for the ending.

In my eyes, it didn't even yet. All that happened was that the author made a manga out of perhaps 35-40% of the total storyline there was, after which the manga was stopped. Not given an ending, but stopped. Why? Not a single conclusion was reached, all that happened was we were given a new beginning.

Therefore, I don't think people should start complaining until around this exact time in 2009. Give the manga time, we might end up seeing a Part 2, since it'll have such an easy time continuing off of Mx0.

So basically, what I'm saying, is don't pay attention to the people saying the ending sucked. Wait until the manga has officially been dead for a long time, aka around a year. Even then, most of the manga is fun to read independent of how chapter 99 ends.

Now then...My "ending rant" is finally over. Would like to actually talk about chapters 1-98. Humor is hilarious, I was laughing non-stop in the beginning. Wouldn't expect any less from the author of Pretty Face. Don't worry, don't worry - no gender bending here . Romance is far from serious, mostly just humor. Art is beautiful, and motions are fluid. Overall a 9 out of 10 manga.

Finally - one last note - if they tried to rush an ACTUAL ending in chapters 99-110, I would have given this a 7. Chapter 99 didn't kill off potential, and I hope part 2 is someday made.

I loved how this manga's wonderful intro and how the main character seemed to grow (ever so slightly) through his hardships. I also love the art on the female bodies. But what I don't like is the ending. I won't spoil it for those who haven't read it but I feel that a manga's ending is just as important as it's intro and it almost seemed like maybe the publishers pulled the plug on him. Great potential but the ending was a cop-out.

Mx0 is a really great manga, I love the concept of the magic the author used.
Although he did alot of the typical "mistakes" that make a manga boring and sometimes REAAALLY annoying, KANO Yasuhiro somehow manages to keep the quality high and makes it worthwhile.
Read it if u want to have some fun and if u are looking for a nice manga, u found it.
The reason I wont give it 9 of 10 is the sudden ending, the author cut short for some reason, and that is SO short, I didn't realize it for a few weeks and was still waiting for a new chapter xD

Well, I'm hoping for a continuation some day in the future and if there will be an alternate ending, I am even willing to give this one a full score.

There was so much filler and building, and when the series FINALLY seemed to be going somewhere great, the manga slapped you in the face with a WHAM-BAM-THANK-YOU-MAM.

Great manga. Great potential. Horrid, premature end.

I really hope to see some kind of continuation.

While Mx0 does fall into several pitfalls common in shounen manga such as Kazumi pursuing Hiragi with little development, this is a special series for me since the oneshot of this series, MP0 got me interested in manga when I downloaded it by accident. It is unfortunate that the author had to end this series prematurely but I'll be looking forward to his next work.

You've got to be kidding me, this guy Kuzumi the lead male he enters a magic school blows up the eco room with a teacher in it and the whole school gets fooled he is the greatest first year magic student ever! HAHAHAHAHA hilarious, and now he has to make it through the whole year of magic exams school fights without a single shred of magic! Tell me if this ain't a plot then I'll unscrew my head like he actually does in the manga! This is a highly entertaining manga with unpredictable situational outcomes, Kuzumi even though has no magic he is a great problem solver, he plays a psychological battle which is so funny, he'll bluff his way to win if he has too! haha Character developement was there but yea as people mentioned they cut this one short. Still its a great read, funny as hell and the story will captivate you for the whole 90+ chapters.

I really enjoyed this series. Unlike other Shounen manga, this one doesn't give the character ridiculous power boosts. In fact, everyone's power is limited and the character must use his wit to overcome new challenges. The story's much more entertaining when the hero can't overcome every challenge with a new power boost.

It's a shame that the author had to wrap up the series (it's really obvious that the ending was forced). Had he continued with the series, it would have been great.

I had two big problems this manga.

One was how the main character fell head over heels for one chick since the first time he met her. I'd actually like to see someone throw a curveball for once and not make the main love interest be so obvious.

The other thing was how it ended. From what I've heard it was forced, so under the circumstances it was done well. That aside though it stunk out loud and just when I was thinking this story was getting better. I felt it was kinda dumb how Taiga was able to fool everyone so easily, but just when they fixed that it ended. Not cool.

Other than that I really liked this manga. It covered the plot holes quite well, and art is pretty good too. Another thing I like about this too is there no perfect character, everyone has their weakness yet still is strong. Sad to see this one end.

IMO the ending aint THAT bad. It just leaves everything open which gives the author chance to continue if a chance comes by. Its not nearly as bad as B.Reaction where the ending doesn't even belong to the same universe.

excellent everything. story, character development, beginning. not ending though. the ending wasnt really like an ending to me or at least i wasnt enough... coulda made 100 chapters but had to stop at 99... the 100th one coulda been really good. oh well. ending was open but still...
