Dunno how interested i am in a completed manga that adapts an ongoing novel...

i read until ch 12, and didnt read the novel, but all i can say is that it sucks how its so one dimensional. Like, the girl appears and then its just her and the MC, goodbye childhood friend whos in love with him, his other friends, nothing matters anymore besides the new girl.. pathetic

If you ask me, this was indeed horrible.Regarding the characters Kojou looked a bit........ boxy , is that a word?, just checked apparently it is.
The transitioning from one scene to the other wasn't very smooth, was very awkward.
And the protagonist and the heroine got intimate way too quickly, it was simply unnatural.

All that being said I did quite like the setting, especially the part about the protagonist being on top of the vampire hierarchy (kinda like campione).

And the anime was awesome. it didn't feel unnaturally fast, I wonder why.
And Kojou didn't have that boxy-ness, looked a bit like Toyama Kinji.

Ignore the person who made that comment below. If it is bad, why would it even get an anime adaptation? The guy below just read like 5 chapters that did not even touch the tip of the iceberge and call it bad. All story feeds you information slowly one by one to interest the readers. If it does not interest you then maybe you are not the intended audience. The manga is an adaptation of the novel. If you are confused, wait until novel is translated and read that instead. When you watch "Titanic", should you decide it is bad and boring and left the theater before the Titanic sinks? No, you probably sit through that entire 2 hours to see what happens next. The starting point always feels boring when it introduces characters and sets up the plot. You cannot decide whether the product is bad if you don't even have the patience to understand it thoroughly.

I'm lost as to how this got such high ratings or even published for that matter. There is absolutely NOTHING exceptional about it. The characters are flat, the action is worthless, and the plot doesn't even make sense. I endured 5 chapters of this crap with the thoughts that it'll get better but it just never did.
