I'm giving this a high recommendation for people who like the un-typical shoujou manga. The characters are like characters you'd want for a story. The main girl isn't your clumsy, dumb, doesn't-know-what-love-is-kind-of-girl, she isn't pure strong, she doesn't cry because she found some sort of dreadful secret. She is rather the type to smile to hide her pain, which shows she is strong like that. She can act as if she knows nothing when she knows an awful lot. The guy isn't your typical bad boy. His coldness/coolness hides his real feelings(can't describe him ugh==") The deceased brother is pretty interesting as well. I think the feelings cause the mystery and suspense itself. Besides the mystery behind Daisy's past.
hooked me by the first chapter

this manga is so good. once you start reading, you'll be asking for more. i've heard of motomi kyousuke's other works, but never got attracted to the art. this series totally changes my opinion of his works. all the characters are lovable and you'll be surprised by how strong and smart teru is.

I can't even begin to write how wonderful, amazing, heartbreaking, and phenomenal this manga is. I don't usually say this much about mangas, but this has to be an exception. Before, my favorite shojo was Skip Beat!, but this has gone above and beyond romance-wise. I first started this a couple of months ago, read the chapters had been scanned and moved off to other titles. Yesterday I read all the new raws (up to ch.29) that somebody had kindly put up, and my mind was blown. It is an amazing mix of romance and drama and mystery. For those who have started this already, keep reading! It gets SO much better. And for those who haven't started yet, this is definitely a must read! Go read it now! You won't regret it!

I don't think I can explain in words why this manga is so amazing. To start it off, I'll try to name a few.
The art is so awesome. Daisy is drawn in such an attractive manner that I have actually printed and traced drawings of him in hopes for me to possibly be able to possess the talent of drawing characters as good looking as the mangaka does. That sounds kind of creepy but whatever.
Wonderful character development. The author finds a nice balance between cliche airheads and seriously messed up people. Though the characters have flaws, they still character the fairy-tail-like aura that most shoujo mangas are supposed to carry. I like how the characters are not perfect but rather have some hilarious character quirks.
Actually, let me delve deeper into the core part of shoujo manga--the male lead. All in all, I'll make it short and sweet. I want to marry this dude. Not because he's perfect (he really isn't) but he seems like a real person. I want to applaud the male mangaka who has finally been able to break his male lead out of the "perfect prince charming" with no personality. I am tired of mangas with male leads who have no personality (coughVampireKnightcough).
Lastly, this manga is so funny. Haha

The story is unique and interesting. Even though the mangaka is a guy, he knows how to write a good romance story. It didn't bore me to death *whisper* And I get bored easily! I recommend to who ever like actions, comedy, school life, and romance all in one.
Luv it! :D

Cute plot. It was kind of noticeable that he was DAISY, but it made it so heart warming. It wasn't boring AT ALL! Usually, I would be skipping pages to find what happened and stuff, but I was too in to the story to even skip pages. Hilarious humors, Awesome characters, Great plot/story, Twists!

The characters are likable and the romance seems to develop in a realistic type fashion. I don't read shoujo often but I really did like this one. I often stop reading them when they throw in a love triangle since those piss me off, than they revolve the story around that. This doesn't do that for which I'm glad. The drawing is also top notch and a added bonus.
Not your typical Shoujo male character::

I can't relate to DAISY/Kurosaki in reality, but I would have to say if it did happen in reality, I would definitely know what it feels like. The author really does a good job of trying to make Kurosaki hide who he really is, for fear of confusing little Teru.
Great Characters!

I totally agree with sissydaredevil. Daisy is a great male character. It's sooo refreshing to see him react to situation with real responses like embarrassment, anger, or sadness, etc. He's got a personality! He's not stereotypically stoic, emo or deadpan like most shoujo male characters. And likewise, Teru is a very intelligent and perceptive girl. I totally love that! She's not some stupid, helpless chick who always needs to be rescued. She's scared when the situation calls for it, sad when she should be, and courageous/resourceful when need be. Her reactions to serious situations don't feel forced or overdone so it's very enjoyable to watch. Again, she's another not-so-stereotypical shoujo character. These two guys (Daisy and Teru) are some of my favorite manga characters. They have emotional depth and, most importantly, they have great chemistry!

all i gotta say is WOW, i cant belive it the guy actually has a personality, most anime guys of his gener follow sterio type, they do preverted things to the herion untill she falls in love with him, or they are emo losers , he seems to care about the herion lots, plus hes actually a complex guy, she is a really grate charcter herself she dosent cry over nothing, and shes the most loyal friend ive ever seen, she is so funny somtimes, and the plots good to and its always interesting, its a funny touching mysterious read i really would recomend it to everyone, no one could hate this manga,
