After orphan Teru Kurebayashi loses her beloved older brother, she finds solace in the messages she exchanges with Daisy, an enigmatic figure who can only be reached through the cell phone her brother left her. Meanwhile, Teru meets and forms a strange friendship with mysterious Tasuku Kurosaki, her school's janitor. For some reason, Kurosaki always seems to be around whenever Teru needs help which leads Teru to wonder: Could Daisy be a lot closer than she thinks?
As the mystery of Daisy unfolds, Teru also discovers that there may have been a lot more to the life and death of her br... More...

If you liked Beast Master, you'll LOVE this one! So cute. I love the interaction between the two main characters. You know he'll always be there for her and yet, it seems he's holding himself back as well. I hope it develops more into the relationship you know is there, just below the surface. Past emotions will get in the way, but I'm sure the truth will come out in the end...it always does<3
May I begin by saying, I absolutely ADORE Motomi Kyousuke and all of his works?
Dengeki Daisy is his latest series. (After Beast Master, which was also WONDERFUL. One of my favorite manga ever)
It's extremely funny, but still manages to pull at your heartstrings. I HIGHLY recommend this to everyone, and also recommend all Kyousuke's other works too.
This series is such a breath of fresh air, because it isn't your typical, cliche shojo manga. It's totally different, and amazingly so.
DEFINATELY read it ;D

LOL. i love it. enough said, read it for yourself. The art, storyline, and overall, GREAT! The heroine of this shoujo is not a usual dumbass one, but has a strong character, with all she's been through. Kurosaki is HILARIOUS. love them both. a MUST read! 
A truly wonderful story... I was totally bought over by the first chap. I really hope the scanlating group will put out more releases, gambatte and thankews! The plot is excellent and fresh, and the art is awesome. I'm totally in love with the characters right now, and I'm really looking forward to how the plot will continue!!!!
wow when i read the first chapter i was completely hooked, and when the scanlator gave out the next three chapters (plus the extra) in the same month i was so excited!! this manga is extremely sweet than any other manga i've ever read. the romance isn't lame either unlike a lot of shoujo mangas.. it's very original. I love this author and all her other stories too!
update: okai I still like Dengeki Daisy but I really hope that it doesn't drag on than it should just because this manga is really popular. I'll still read it but I hope it doesn't get ruined!

I went into reading this manga mainly because these comments recommened it and the rating was good... I didn't expect much, but it wasn't long before I love it! I'm totally loving Kurosaki!! <3 <3 <3

So this manga has become my favorite. Kurosaki? Breathtaking. And the main girl is not ditzy or anything. She speaks her feelings in a tender way, and she's really one of a kind. I stopped reading the fourth chapter, since I don't want to be a slave of this manga! D: I'll wait endlessly. I'm going to read this again. And again. And again.
I have a thing for manga guys like Kurosaki. ;]

To all that says 'she/her': The mangaka is male, if I'm not mistaken (thought it would be good to give proper credit to the male creator, lol)

so far I read 3 chapters and I am loveing every bit of it this is one of the best mangas I have ever read its just great I and I love Kyousuke Motomi i love her work she is the best! <3 ^_^
i love this manga and the writer i keep coming back for more and i also keep re-reading them mangafox has a few of them and im about to go see how mnay the writer has out so i can find them all and read them
