*My rating scale is out of 5.

This is my first review on Manga Updates and I have to say, this manga really deserves it. The low rating it has is such a befuddlement because this manga has the essence of what it takes to be a great manga. To me, it is severely underrated.

The story is really about two people in love and how they come about to achieve that through all their problems, differences and insecurities. The guy is understandable, reasonable and very complex, he has had a lot of troubles and you can see why he does what he does. He is a coward at times and that is very understandable but when the times arises, he rises up and becomes more than himself. It is very admirable to see him try his best to achieve his happiness and overcome all the baggage that is holding him back. The girl, is a complete match for the guy. Her luck is high, she is positive and optimistic. But she also has problems of insecurities and the such in a relationship. Their relationship is a roller coaster ride, with many ups and down, but they always come through and support each other. The guy is always thinking about the girl and the girl is always thinking about the guy, they are each other's pillar of support. They reaffirm their love and grow their love through their problems. They really are a beauty to watch and you get a fuzzy happy feeling every time you see them interact with each other.

Oh yeah, one more thing to add. Kirara is super super cute (in a lovable and adorable way). Especially the thing with the condom, everytime she whips it out, I end up laughing my ass off.

Anyways, I really really recommend reading this and it definitely deserves several more points to its rating.

And I thank you all the scanlators for translating it and for Nemesis Scans on continuing the series. I hope you guys keep it up and finish it. Thanks a lot.

PS. The support characters are hilarious. The manager, the best friend and the stalker Erika. *laughs* They're so funny.

As of volume 3, chapter 20:

A very good looking girl, a fair amount of nice sexy ecchi,, and some funny gags and situations. But the story has pretty much disintegrated into just repeating variations of the same situations over and over again: no real storyline, progress in the character's relationship is at a standstill, and the series is just sitting in one place spinning its wheels without getting anywhere.

I'll probably keep reading this for a while, since I like the two main characters and the ecchi is pretty good, but if there's no progress soon I'll most likely give it up as a lost cause.

I must say I like this spin on things. She's pretty lucky to land such a nice guy being in the career she's in, and he's very unlucky to end up in love with someone in that career! He may be a dork, but man I've seen some real life sports fans that make him look pretty cool. I look forward to more.

this is futari ecchi + geek

It looks like it might be a funny ecchi read at first, but quickly loses its appeal. Not least of all, the main character is revolting in his intense geekiness and incompetence. The main plot device looks to be the overused "we can't be together" crap, and for an unconvincing reason. Forced situations abound and the first whole volume you get the annoying device of them being interrupted just before sex. Eh, the thing is just crap. At least Futari Ecchi made no pretense as to what it was.

ehhh...another newlyweds adjusting manga. itll feel ALL too familar, especially if youve read futari ecchi. i can deal with the whole newlyweds getting to know each other thing again, but the characters just dont seem real.its not really believable, and hard to sink into. its still only 6 chapters in, so its too early to really tell. the story has to potential, but for some reason i have the feeling it wont be fulfilled. it does peek my curiosity to see how things unfold, but i have a feeling ill be disappointed, as itll probably wind up JUST LIKE futari ecchi

I love this. I like the two main characters and Kirari is ridiculously cute. I can't wait for more.

great manga but futari ecchi is quite similar to this.. except not as explicit (so far)

the main characters are quite similar.. in the way the act and how pitiful as they are in futari ecchi.. although great manga this is every man's dream to have the girl of your dreams are idol fall in love with.. read it

I love the mangaka's style, as usual he made all the characters so cute and adorable

The first chapter was absolutely hilarious. The premise is interesting. No need to give it such a crappy score.
