Description
From Anime Waves:
Tsukasa, Tajima, Katsu, and newcomer Sae, were all members of the Hentai ShonenDai (Perverted Boy's club) at the tender age of 11. But as they grow older, how will each of their lives change? Will they grow apart, or stay true to the (perverted) passions they shared as kids. D-ASH is a story about the adventures these boys will have trying to grow up as fast as they can, being as naughty as possible all the while.

Pretty Awesome

I wasn't expecting to like Tsukasa after reading various reviews about him sleeping around, but after reading the manga it only seemed to make sense to me. I really enjoyed D-ASH (and this is coming from an avid shoujo reader) and I love Miki to bits smile. I love how Sae is not a pitiable girl and wants to do things with her own power - she is truly a remarkable woman albeit with flaws like any other human being. All in all, great manga, I enjoyed it a lot!

I read this like years ago and I still remember how good it was. Very sweet romance in it that progressed nicely. And what a happy ending!! There are not enough happy yet down-to-earth endings in manga. The art is nice too. I feel like this would translate nicely into a film too lol.

This one's a very good coming-of-age manga. The art isn't too consistent in my taste, but the story is well paced. I just wish the groups would speed up the releases sad

It is definitely worth the read. You will be smiling from start to end as it is a true love story. A promise made as kids to date when they meet again but do their feelings still remain the same even after 10 yrs of being separated from each other? Read the manga to find out and don't rely on comments to judge whether or not to read it, just read it and enjoy what the manga has to offer.

started reading this out of curiousity. turns out it was good. a really good seinen i must say. sometime, I even forget that it is seinen. reflects a lot of the realities of life. the dreams and ambitions have a firm foundation and not just useless interests. main lead is an awesome guy who isn`t your typical perv, though a player. and the girl, disabled but hot. lol. both the leads are good looking and have unique personalities. the fact that their love survived after no contact for almost 10 years is just amazing.can`t wait to finish it.
also the fact that all his friends` girls are falling for him/ or are in love with him is just too cruel. especially junko (whose affections runs all the way from elementary) and the present girls such as maeda`s cousin. just..i dont know. dramatic or what?
miki was one damn hero. god! i can`t believe someone like him exists but after all, that`s reality for you.

This isn't something that would sit well with feminists

And of course it wouldn't. We're in a world where promiscuous men are envied and loose women are despised, easily explained by the lesser burden on a man in the act of reproduction. Certainly the girl being forgiving and supportive is an (incredibly) ideal woman from a man's perspective, a feminist is (obviously) likely to think she is stupid. Well at least now I understand the ratings.
But sex aside, this is one of the rare series that has managed to touch a close chord with me. It's not just about track and field, if you've ever been in an international tournament in your life, you'll know all about the inferiority complex, desperate longing, painful realizations and depression that entail once you fail to meet the expectations put upon you.
But the manga doesn't just stop at that. If I have to put it poetically, at some point, reality ended and a reverie began. And it was a beautiful one.

I really liked the story. Even though it included cliché parts where i was afraid it was going to become a shoujo drama it stayed on track and it felt really original at the same time. Like some others say it reminds me a little bit of suzuka, but the story is really different. I really enjoyed reading this. There are some manga where they overcomplicate things and an incident can take volumes to cover but D-ASH really cuts in to the bone in some of those scenes, which I personally think is a nice breather from the homogene mainstream manga.
