Must admit... did not want to read this one in the beginning but the plot seemed cool, so I gave it a try. Must admit, the art is the most atrocious I've ever seen, but the plot keeps me going. I LOVE the heroine, as she's unlike any other shoujo lead out there... she's beautiful and silent, but strong... I can't explain it very well, but you have to read it. I was hooked on to the first few chapters...

The art might be too trendy for most readers but the plot is deviantly romatic! So if you can't stomach a fierce romance then pick something else. As for me, I'm enraptured by how the lovers in this story have been brought to life. Kyung-hee Goh isn't just a pretty face but very capable of fighting back, even when she's being viciously targeted by Yang Ookil the very handsome bully that "just wants to meet her" and probably very clearly wants to kill her!

the art was fresh and interesting, the characters looked like clay or seomthing. i just dont like how the guy is so crude and petty, but i like the girl. this manhwa also led me to my favorite song- everything means nothing to me
yeah the art is a bit questionable sometimes and so are some of the characters-like, the pigtailed girl is going to beat kyung hee but then she become her friend(sort of)? a bit ocd but has potential if you can get past the art and some of the characters.

This manhwa definitely has potential. The art is stronger than most manwhas i've seen. But most importantly, this manhwa is more than a bunch of violence. It does have some harsh beatings, but that's barely the point. Girl in Heels is about the romance of a girl who was born too pretty. The violence and what-not are merely devices for developing a deeper plot. The main event hasn't even begun to show itself even by the fifth chapter, so there is a lot of developing, but that just makes me more anxious!
*spoiler warning* After you read through to chapter 5 , look back at the very first page of c01. Now the real question is this: how could such a strong romance sprout from such a difficult girl?

well initially i found it to be very interesting and as this was my first encounter with the shoujo genre but the way the male "protagonist" assaults her...i was kinda liiike "o.0?", that wasnt what killed this for me though, it was the fact that she somehow manages to fall head over heals for him by the end and the whole calm cool and collected, attitude sorta just fades away slowly..despite the short little "internal conflict"...i was sorta expecting some sorta revenge plot from her...or something like that ^_^;;
all in all its ok its just that the main characters are kinda stupid but the girl doesnt become stupid till almost near the end soo that much about it is good, ;P

i just started reading it...so it's an good story...the art is different from what ive seen in a manhwa but its worth the read...besides the main boy being an abusive jerk...he is pretty...the the main girl is a bit weird, it made he wonder why she didnt let Yang sister in the taxi when she was getting beat-up ...weird but besides the weird stuff its a nice story from what ive read..i can understand why some people rated it with ones and two the story is lacking in some areas but i hope it smooth out later on in the story... XD

what you have to remember reading this manga is that this isnt an everyday manga about a scum guy and a pretty girl, the mangaka has clearly set the stage for an eventful and turbulent relationship.
he beats her only because, she wanted him to do something confirm it was him crying, which he did. but the background and stage to this manga is going to be very interesting, as it makes the reader think. only good mangas can do this. Why did he beat her? what happened in the past to make her react to the beating as such?
also, the art in places isnt great, it has touches of plastic 3d realism, with the bully girl, but at most times, it isnt all bad at all.
Im really looking forward to how this manga develops. its going to be exciting for sure. Jo. X

Well I like it, it's not a typical shoujo manga where love is everything and so on, I think it's original and interesting, something different. And I don't think that beating thing is going to continue. And I sort of like the art because it's different and the main characters are drawn beautifully. Can't wait to see what happens next.

The art is pretty poor, the only reason we know the main two characters are supposed to be attractive is the text/story, the art certainly doesn't support this plot point though - most of the supposedly "plain" characters look better than them.

Neither of the central characters has any real redeeming features that could make us interested in their fate - the girl of the title is self centred, arrogant and vain, while the guy is violent, lazy and petty.

Given this is already seven chapters in, for me it is beyond the point it should have been able to give a reason to continue reading, but I still have no interest in knowing what happens to any of the characters (and that is even given the cliff hanger at the end of ch. 7).
