Description
Fuuta is an average-looking salaryman who's never had luck with women. However, all that changes when he meets a strange girl through a dating agency. She's nice, but has an odd habit of always wearing masks on their dates. One day, Fuuta sees his mask-wearing girlfriend being attacked by (what he thinks are) thieves. Fuuta saves her from them, and full of happiness and gratitude, the girl confesses and proposes to him. The night they get married, she finally takes off her mask and reveals her identity: She's the super-idol singer Kirari who Fuuta admires! Thus starts their life as a marrie...

In short: Happy endings FTW.
Usually in romances involving a female idol they don't turn out well or they don't have a healthy relationship. This manga is certainly unique in the beginning and throughout.
The guy is on the lamer side compared to the usual seinen protagonist, but at least its better than some ugly old- looking pedo. Having him being "always cheated on/used by women" is better than the usual "never had a woman".

after around volume three, the amount of sex increases from zero to tenfold. i wouldn't be surprised if the author decided to turn this into a hentai. if he did, it would be one with at least a plot.
great manga but futari ecchi is quite similar to this.. except not as explicit (so far)

It's different from the genres I usually read, and I think if you don't like this genre you shouldn't read it. It's really unrealistic, and you can tell it's for men XD But, if you want to read something completely dumb and entertaining and supper ecchi, read this. It's funny and he guy is not someone I'm attracted to as a character, nevertheless he's the most realistic thing from this manga. There's nothing wrong with a dream, and he got his came true.
The first chapter was absolutely hilarious. The premise is interesting. No need to give it such a crappy score.
I love the mangaka's style, as usual he made all the characters so cute and adorable
It looks like it might be a funny ecchi read at first, but quickly loses its appeal. Not least of all, the main character is revolting in his intense geekiness and incompetence. The main plot device looks to be the overused "we can't be together" crap, and for an unconvincing reason. Forced situations abound and the first whole volume you get the annoying device of them being interrupted just before sex. Eh, the thing is just crap. At least Futari Ecchi made no pretense as to what it was.

ehhh...another newlyweds adjusting manga. itll feel ALL too familar, especially if youve read futari ecchi. i can deal with the whole newlyweds getting to know each other thing again, but the characters just dont seem real.its not really believable, and hard to sink into. its still only 6 chapters in, so its too early to really tell. the story has to potential, but for some reason i have the feeling it wont be fulfilled. it does peek my curiosity to see how things unfold, but i have a feeling ill be disappointed, as itll probably wind up JUST LIKE futari ecchi
As of volume 3, chapter 20:

But the story has pretty much disintegrated into just repeating variations of the same situations over and over again: no real storyline, progress in the character's relationship is at a standstill, and the series is just sitting in one place spinning its wheels without getting anywhere.
I'll probably keep reading this for a while, since I like the two main characters and the ecchi is pretty good, but if there's no progress soon I'll most likely give it up as a lost cause.
