I actually kinda like this series. While I disagree with many of the jeers given to it, I have to admit it does lack a lot of definition. Also, the so-called 'rape scene' isn't what it appears to be. It leaves a lot of evidence of it being such, but then again, siegfried did say he was ' not interested' and that his body was 'indifferent'. Cecily was just being an emo drama queen about it. She realized she was too weak and frail to go up against that man. Still, I look forward to seeing how that woman-beating bastard gets his. I cannot stand guys like him. Being a man myself, I find stuff like that utterly ugly, disgusting and cowardly. Though the whole thing was a plot device to show how cecily will overcome herself and her insecurities, I still find it was lacking.

pretty nice mange so far, it kinda reminds me of the early berserk chapters so far and Luke even kinda resembles gatts in a way imo (and his assistant Lisa resembles puck a bit as well), well Luke doesnt exactly look like gatts or has the same personality, he doesnt even have the same fighting style, but i just get a similar feeling from him compared to the young gatts

anyway art looks good (especially the ecchi parts hrheheh *evil laugh*) and the story could get pretty nice

fellow readers, dont be mislead by my comment however, this manga is nothing as dark as berserk, but much rather has a brighter feeling to it... not saying it doesnt have the potential

btw: ppl even sacrifice themselfs to become monsters (they loose their mind however), again similar to berserk lol

i dunno how this can be called seinen at all. the comedy is the same overdone kind of boloney you see in alot of shounen garbage. its a cute manga, but the "contracting" and sword making stuff is annoying. arts ok, just look at the cover and you get the idea.

The latest chapter (21) is just disgusting in so many ways. The protagonists are weak in both personality and willpower; the plot is really not moving anywhere and to top it of there's the rape imagery. Seriously what the f**k is up with that? There can be other ways to portray the villain as the douche he is but does it have to be by brutally beating up the female heroine and ripping her clothes of? The only solace I get from this is that it wasn't an 8 chapter long rape scene like it was in Wolf Guy.

EDIT: I said rape "imagery" not an actual rape scene. People are concentrating on the wrong part of my sentence about it above. The fact still remains that the man was very close to breaking her through physical and mental humiliation. He may not have raped her but the imagery has strong rape undertones, at least to me. I guess I may just be a little sensitive when it comes to anything about men cruelly dominating women whether fiction or not. That kind of crap is just plain wrong.
