The small country of Adarshan recently conquered a territory of the Castoria Empire. To create an alliance between the two countries and secure new border alignments, the victorious Adarshan general, Alexid Deke Adars (the king's younger stepbrother), was forced into a political marriage with Castoria's sixth imperial princess Justinia. But she's only 10 years old!

Boo hoo, they ended it so abruptly. The art was well done and the story line interesting enough to keep me reading. It really is to bad it ended like it did.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
ok first off, the age difference really isn't that big a deal! it's not like Alec is a pedophile! goodness people! i think it is really cute! in a TOTALLY innocent way! i have only one complaint... that its over!!!! T.T anyone know of a similar manga?!?!
Better than I thought
I actually enjoyed reading this. There were things that I didn't expect, and it's a pretty original idea. I would also recommend reading the whole series at once, especially since it's fairly short, and so that you can get everything altogether.
I liked this one. It was nice and cute. There were some parts that seemed a little confusing to me, but that might be due to the other mangas I read while waiting for this one to update. I think it should be continued. When I read the last chapter and saw "The End" I kinda was shocked. It has a lot more potential, but if they ended the manga here, I felt that it should have had at least a short about later on when Justinia grows up and possibly has a little family ^.^
Anyways, overall it was nice, but seemed unfinished. There are definitely better stories with this genre out there, but if you're bored, give this one a try.
Should have continued
I enjoyed the read which combines the light fluffiness of casual romance and shoujo with some interesting politics. Main character is developed quite well along with his relationships with everyone but it ends too early.
As for the artwork it flows pretty well and fits the manga. The artist also draws the princess in very cute ways.

Story --- 6 Art --- 9 Characters --- 6
The story has some interesting points and fluids enouph well not contradicting itself but other than that it hasn't nothing really original. Until now is pretty simple and I don't think it will change as the time goes. The art, like in the majority of the storys, is the best part. It's cute and clean but I have seen better or more original. Some people critic the diferent between them. But there is alot of young princes who marry old men. That's the true. The problem here is the same as the plot. They have diferent personalitys but they aren't too much original and I can find anything who attract us. If you are looking for something simple you must read this.
Age difference makes or breaks this story
cute, and neat shojo yet its readability is based on a persons tolerance for age differences, sadly enough for me this is right on the edge of downright uncomfortable. As I understand it the prince is 20 while the princess is 20, yet no I am reading that the prince is actually 14 so I am a little confused. Am I allowed to be okay with this developing relationship or is it just creepy?
Adarshan no Hanayome
Just one correction, the age difference is actually only 5-6 years old.
At first, I didn't want to read this manga, since I was afraid of a loli romance.
But after reading there was no pedo at all, I started it... And I was glad I did it!
Even if the story is a bit text-heavy, the drawings are very cute (I just love the artwork) and I really liked the way the characters develop feeling for each other.
I'm happy to see romance in a very innocent way here, since they start to like each other, but there is no contact or whatsoever between them - just plain liking each other's company. I really want to see what happens when Justinia grows up!
Very good manga.
Hmmm. Missing the point here.
I see that a lot of people don't like the age difference, but most of the readers of Adarushan are not thinking about the time. Sure, there's a 10-year age difference, but at the time, that was considered a very small age difference. And they even said in the manga that most girls and boys were expected to be married at 14. So, really, it will only be 4 or 5 years until a romance really develops. Don't think about the age difference anymore, it's not the biggest thing to worry about at the moment.
As for the manga itself, I love the drawings and just the characters themselves. =] I just wish that I could read more of it.
It's alright and the art is pretty cute My only problem is the storyline is too hard to follow...it has too many words to read even though I love reading...I wish these shoujo war based stories would have at least some sort of battle...but maybe that's just my wish *sigh*
