Its a really good story, great in fact. The relationship between umi and naka is so hilarious. OH i love the scene when he gets jealous Its a must read. Ur life will never be the same after u read it....ahaha well thats an exaggeration but i really recommend it.
aaw....>.< I just bought volume 4 and the story is getting even more interesting. At the beginning I thought, that there is no plot and so on,but then I read vol.4 and I definitely love this manga. It's very funny, I can't stop laugh ---> AFRO xDD and there is also Tsutsumi and the sister of Chi-san (I forgot her name uu'''), who brought the turn, I just can say: I knew it > !! And Fukuyama-san's freetalk is also very funny xDD READ CHARMING JUNKIE it's worth it.

This manga has got to be the best friggin' manga I've ever read thus far. It's been months since I first saw it. I'm still waiting for scanlations and even when I read other good stuff, this manga will always remain number 1 for me.
I'm a fan of gender-blender manga. Like gender-blender? Give this a read. It's funny, the art is very nicely drawn - very pretty characters, the romance between the two main characters, Umi and Naka, is extra sweet because usually they are bickering or Umi is harassing (verbal and physical) Naka in some way and that makes it even more surprising and sweet when a little romantic scene comes into play. Basically it's one of those love-hate relationships. (except so far, the 'love' is just developing) I don't think this is like any other manga I've read.
So if you want a fun, sweet, humorous manga to read, I HIGHLY recommend this. Well.. I'll just recommend this for everyone. You'll really like it.
This series is probably one of the best series I have ever read. And I like the fact that it's not a short story about a guy who is in love with a girl and the girl loves the guy back and then they start dating, The End. It's actually pretty fun. They both like each other, and I guess they know that, but they just can't start their relationship right away and all, and I like the way it is, or else the story might be to fast. And Charming Junkie is also about modeling, unlike a ton of other shoujo mangas where they mostly focus on the romance. This manga is also very hilarious, and I actually laughed out loud when I was reading it! It's one of those MUST-READ mangas that you actually DO have to MUST-READ! At first when I saw the manga, I thought it was boring, but when I checked it out a bit, I was like, "Hey, this is not so bad!" And now I'm addicted to Charming Junkie! Umi+Naka Forever!!!

I LOVE Naka and Umi! And our "nature wave" (Tsutsumi-kun)! This manga is so funny, that I have to laugh a lot by reading that manga! It´s too funny... the temperament of Naka and (male) Umi is unequalled. Haaah... I want more from Umi and Naka! The fashion is in every volume similar, but that´s only the own style of Fukuyama-sensei, I think. And I like her clothes! When I read the 3rd volume for the first time, my heart began to beat, when Umi said to Tsuda-san, that he loves Naka... I never thought, that he realise his love for Naka so quick. I thought, he needs a longer time... this baka (sorry Umi). Naka is a very... unique person... I think... But I LOVE her!!! At the beginning of the story I HATE Tsutsumi, but now, I think, he´s quite ok... And: Ican´t explain, but I like Chihiro Akiyama(volume 3)... I dislike Aza Nagafuji... sorry. I love that manga, simply. You MUST read it, if you didn´t do that! Please! I love Umi. *UMI FOR EVER*
