I like this manga, sadly it's already liscended.
Very funny, I can't stand laughing when I read this manga
Mostly Comedy with a light dash of romance. Highly recomend it for anyone looking for anything light hearted and plain silly.
Two weeks ago i bought hayate volume 33 just to entertain myself while waiting my newest book of main collection manga title to be published. At that time i was just had that only book of hayate. Now, i continue it until 37th book plus get the 17th also 21th book.
The story flows very natural and easy to understand. If you want to kill some time waiting your favorite manga title(s), by reading another manga with easy feeling, hayate is all you need.

really funny!!! the main char is no ordinary butler, he's a mixture of a gundam, human, and misfortune
when i started reading the manga, i was not expecting something as this, one of the best I have read!
really funny comedy
Al principio me costo engancharme con su estilo de comedia...pero una vez que conoces un poco más de la cultura nipona este manga se torna más y más divertido. Hasta se dio el lujo de agregar un poco de drama en algunos arcos. This is a good manga, and I enjoy read (my english sucks)
I love this series because of the characters. Hayate is just unique: totally unlucky, able with his good boy behaving to catch the heart of most of the girls around him, and with a quite misterious past. And a peculiar characteristic of being just invincible.
Nagi with her unrequited love gives the base of the comedy. Her being totally different from Hayate will just make the two misunderstand anything between themselves, and they will never understand their feelings for eachother.
Then I could go on for Maria and Hinagiku... but I have a blog for that.
The comedy is well done even if quite forced. Forced isn't bad as long as the jokes stand the moment. In fact, there's comedy just when possible, and the atmosphere let's it happen.
Contradicting the comedy, there are quite a few arcs that are quite serious and intense.
