well no matter, only one thing to say :
You like romance ? Read it.
That's it, you'll understand the manga's awesomeness without me. And especially the female lead's awesomeness. One of the two mangas i would really like to give an 11 : it gets beyong perfectness, it is godlike.

This one is definitely a straight up solid 10! It has suspense, romance (which doesn't fill you with frustration due to a lack of communication), laughter, twists and main characters who are neither wimps nor idiots - all the things I like in a manga or book. It's one that even if I've read it from cover to cover online I will buy it when it's available. I'd like to have it on hand to be able to read again and again. It's that good.
You know, I read the previous comment that the female lead 'cries all the time' and I have to strongly disagree. I hate crybaby female leads and I didn't dislike her at all. In fact, her character grows emotionally stronger with each volume, which I like. Keep in mind that we pick up the story just a short time after her brother (who is her ONLY living relative & whom she loves dearly) dies. To expect her not to cry is a bit unrealistic but she does her best to hold in in check. She's also smart and strong and willing to stand up for what's right and not be bullied - a definite plus. And though she's in love, she's not all mushy over him all the time. So nice!!

If you haven't read this manga yet you should defenitely give it a try. I'm a really REALLY picky person and I only have like 3 favorite manga, and Dengeki Daisy absolutely made the list. While it may come across as redundant and a bit slow I find it very sweet, and I like the connection the characters build as time goes by.
This is a must read, in my opinion.

i dislike most shoujo, but this is an exception, because it has none of the inane tropes of a typical shoujo romance. for one, the male lead is neither perfect nor an abusive jerk who makes you wonder why anyone would fall in love with him; he has a temper, is lazy, curmudgeonly, and likes to tease people, but he also cares a lot about people close to him, and goes to bat for them. but the female lead is what makes this really special. teru is no shrinking violet, she's not dumb and cutesy, and she takes action when it's needed. she, too, isn't perfect, but the plot does not rest on stupid mistakes and constant miscommunication. oh yes, there is an actual plot; the romance doesn't carry this all by itself. in fact the romance is very slow in some ways; don't expect there to be lots of kissing and smoopy stuff; i'm on chapter 44 and there's not been any of that. it is very romantic nonetheless; it's all in the growth of the relationship and how the characters relate to each other, and how they deal with some serious adversity that's thrown at them. i cannot stress enough how impressive the female lead is; how she thinks things through even if initially she reacts badly. and to top it all off, the manga is also funny, and the humour balances well with the sometimes very serious and sad parts, which is hard to achieve.
good plot, great characters, nice art (not very flowery, yay) -- i am not gonna rate it yet because it's still ongoing, but if it continues this way, i don't see why i wouldn't give it a 10; i got emotionally invested when reading this (which is rare for me), and went to grab every raw i could find after i got done with the scanlated chapters; read it all in one sitting (now my butt hurts). definitely gonna buy it too. awesome job by motomi kyousuke; we need more mangaka like him/her.

This is definitely one of my favorite shoujo mangas. It's got a love story AND an actual interesting plot! And it's hilarious! Also the serious parts aren't so overblown and exaggerated they cease to feel serious--unless the laughter was intended. But I think the thing I like the most about Dengeki Daisy is the way the characters are portrayed in a very human way, without the excessive rose glasses of other shoujo manga. Kurosaki is way attractive (with the exception of the smoking) but he's also human and a boy, prone to being occasionally stupid and gross. I also really like the female lead. Teru's not a wimp, and she isn't always crying and waiting to be protected by her knight in shining armor. She's still a girl with normal insecurities and weaknesses, but she stands up for herself and fights when the situation demands it (with varying degrees of success). She isn't impossibly naive or annoying in any way. She's actually very clever. And the plot--wow. Veeery interesting. A mysterious past, suspicious motives, manipulative enemies, all the good stuff. And did I say this manga is hilarious? A perfect mixture of funny, suspenseful, romantic, and mysterious.

This manga is so incredbily good. It is so much better than the stereotypical, romantic, shouja manga. Rather than having very generic characters, the characters in this story actually have unique personalities that distinguish them from one another. Each character seems to have a past or some sort of back story, which makes them seem so much more realistic than many other characters in mediocre romance mangas. The relationship between Teru and Daisy is much deeper than just a boy-girl romance. These two characters seem to connect on a completely different level. Their relationship is in no way cheesy, but still very cute and adorable. What makes this manga so good is that there is more to the story than just the developing romance between the two main characters. There is a mystery that propels the story forward and keeps it very interesting. This manga is a definite must read.

I've been reading Dengeki Daisy since it had 3 chapters out, so I've been a fan since the beginning.
However, I'm going to be honest here for anyone looking to read it. I love the two main characters. I love Teru--she's smart, she's peppy, she's positive, she's clever, she's hilarious. I love Kurosaki--he's the bad boy genius hacker with a golden heart, buried underneath a protective and badass exterior. The two of them have great chemistry and a really cute history and the way it grows just makes my heart flutter. It's a slow burn and it's oh so good. I love how he's older and she's younger and they're both very protective of each other, yet very gentle with each other.
HOWEVER, the plot near the middle begins to drag a little and becomes very dramatic (painfully overdramatic at times). But the ending, I'm sad to say, felt kind of messy!
I love this manga and it'll always have a place in my heart, but that ending was very strange. Still worth the read!
