I want to read something historical that follows the life of someone from that time period. Something like Historie or Vinland Saga would be great. I prefer blood and fighting in my historical stories but that's optional.

EDIT: I would prefer no shoujo and josei manga but if they're really, really good then I'll consider it. I also want to read more realistic manga so no monsters and magic please.

Some of the ones I'm reading or read are:
Historie
Vinland Saga
Vagabond
Cat Shit One
Monster

I highly recommend:

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (USA, England)
Emerald (Wild west)
1001 Nights (Ancient China, Egypt, Greece, Middle east)
King of Wolves (mongolia)
Threads of time (Korea-Koryo)
Le Chevalier d'Eon (an inaccurate version of French Revolution, Fantasy.)

I forgot to mention that I would prefer no shoujo/josei manga >.< The links are good but I want looking for something more specific than those.

[m]Ceaser[/m], maybe? Not much fighting, though, that does happen a couple times.
