I was hesitant about watching this anime cause I thought it was gonna be another annoying harem with over the top cute characters and fan service. Glad to know I was wrong. I've just finished Clannad and Clannad after story and I'm looking something something along the same lines. I think what I loved the most about this is Tomoya and Nagisa's relationship, instead of taking the constant anime plot of adding in rival characters to shake up and test their relationship instead we have something that's constant. Their friendship, into their romance and marriage, they know where they stand with each, are entirely confident in their feelings and want to keep moving forward together. And that's something I found refreshing giving the numerous amount of characters that spend 26 episodes worried their going to loose their partner to something 'better', or other annoying plot devices...

Sorry... this wasn't meant to be a review about the show However if anyone can recommend something with the same sort of plot or feeling I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Fushigi Yuugi and for Harem you may want to look up Reverse Harem with out the fan service and to over the top cute girls which its call "moe" is the word you looking for..

I don't know anything similar but you could try REC (there are manga and anime).

Honey and Clover will do too. It's a slice of life/romance. There's a cute little girl but not a moe character.
