...Any genre EXCEPT ecchi or smut.
...Must be sweet rather than angsty.
...Gives you a generally "happy" feeling; not a tear-jerker or a melodrama.
...Focused on ordinary, slice-of-life events - the "little things".
...Both partners must be adults, i.e. at least college age or older.
...No one-shots (must at least be 1 volume long).

Recommend me titles like these, please! smile

I only read one volume a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure Sing Yesterday for Me fits. It's more quiet and delicate than 'happy', though. (That is, there's no comedy, but there's also no angst.)

If you don't mind shounen-ai, what about Kinou Nani Tabeta? ^^

Cappuccino: Bittersweet slice of life.
Heptagon: Ah, I loved this manga. Very different from a typical josei.
Kimi wa Pet: More mature content (deals more with relationship and career) but has great character development.
Nodame Cantabile: Funny josei. The girl is very lovable.
Shuukatsu!! - Kimi ni Naitei

Try stories by Yoshinaga Fumi, she writes really sweet down to earth stories, for example Kinou nani tabeta? The translated title should be What did you eat yesterday? and that gives you a clue what the manga is about. It's about a gay couple talking about different things over dinner, things like ''when did everyone around us started to look so old?'' and the relationship with their families. Little things like that, it's cute and funny. And don't worry about the fact that it's a gay couple, the manga contains no sex scenes so even non-yaoi fans should be able to enjoy it.

An other manga you should look up is Otona no Mondai, it's a manga about a family's everyday life...but the family is a little bit dysfunktionalXD There are serveral couples in the manga (and all are adults) and all of them faces different problems, but with out melodrama just a funny twist.
