I'm looking for a manga that has some fluff sweet moments in it (but not tooth decay sweet), the sort of thing that gives you a look at the depth and comfort in the relationship.
For example, this scene from Mars has always struck a cord with me. (scan from the manga below, hope that's okay)
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/mars/v04/c000/127.html
and this one also from Mars (can you tell it's my favourite manga yet?)
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/mars/v04/c000/33.html
I prefer josei or shoujo, I'm not a big fan of shounen art for the most part (there are exception, though most of those seem to be Clamp works...) and I haven't really found a seinen that I've liked. Yaoi, Yuri, Shounen-ai, Shoujo-ai, all are good.
The manga its self doesn't have to be fluffy, I mean if you've read Mars then you know it's anything but fluff, but it does have it's sweet moments, so drama, physiological, tragedy are all fine (but no main character death cause those are just depressing)
Thanks!

Ah, Mars... =)
Emma, if I remember correctly.
The author's other works could fit as well,
especially if romance isn't a must have.
Hmm, it's not packed with romance,
but Chokotto Sister has very sweet moments.
Pretty much no romance in the main slice of life plot, but
YKK is the queen and king of lovely moments.
Such titles go to show that sometimes words aren't necessary,
it's all about the scene, that captured moment.
And.. I'm not sure, but maybe Solanin.
Kiss - not too cottony, if memory doesn't betray me.
Koi Cha no Osahou -
Tenki Yohou no Koibito
Sorry if I'm off with my reccs, but those are all good titles in my opinion. ^^;

Kimi wa Pet is filled with "intimate" moments!! And it's completed to boot! Woohooo!!
YOSHINO Aki's works like Shuukatsu!! - Kimi ni Naitei and Yuru Koi. Her works are very soft... good yet calm pacing. <3
Hanatsukihime
Fruits Basket -- okay, I know... it's long... but it's poignant. Keep a box of tissue at hand around the last third of the series.

Thanks guys, some these I've read (Fruits Basket ftw! I was rereading that the other day), some I haven't so I'm going to check those out. Feel free to continue recommending things
I know it can sound a bit off as a rec but I think that the intimacy between Lawerence and Horo in Spice and Wolf is without equals. If you're willing to give to a seinen another chance, try that one.

Oh yes! I love the chemistry between these two!! Watch the anime... it's ahead of scanlations, and well... Holo's coyness comes to life! I read chapter 1 of the light novel, and I thought that it was pretty good.

It's funny you should mention Spice and Wolf, I started to watch it but dropped it for some reason. I can't recall why now as I believe I liked it when watching it. I'll have to pick it back up, I've been looking for a new anime to watch

Oh! New anime! WATCH Ristorante Paradiso!! That's more for slow, adult's romance/relationships/friendships.
As for something about friendship and slice-of-life-ish: I absolutely loveeee Natsume Yuujinchou. It's so soothing... Episode 2 really drew me in... Yup yup! There's 2 seasons for this one...
Then there's Honey and Clover which was simply beautiful... 36 episodes of friendship, character growth, heart-ache and more... gaaaah... I'm so sappy... and it takes place in college (art college). Plot picks up around episode 3.

Definitely recommend some of my shoujo favourites:
Kanata Kara
Immortal Rain
Mekakushi no Kuni
Plenty of "intimate" moments in them
I'd give you links but I don't want to spoil anything if you haven't read them
