Does anyone know a free mobile game for android that doesn't require an internet connection, doesn't try to sell me things (at least not in an annoying way) and does not drain the battery too much or take up an awful lot of space? I need something to keep me occupied so that I won't have to talk to people in certain situations.

There's card games like - Spider solitaire, FreeCell, Spades, Hearts, Solitaire, etc.
- Tetris
- I enjoy this game called Alchemy by Andrey 'Zed' Zaikin
- Magic Art
- Flow free by Big Duck Games LLC
- Plague Inc. by Miniclip.com
Sorry not sure why type of games you're into

Thanks! Tetris makes me stressed, but I like the rest, thank you! It doesn't really matter what kind of game it is, I just need something to make me look busy

You're Welcome.
I like naming my plagues in Plague Inc. Spew or something like Spew 1.0
(Also spending a dollar to have some of the extra features like fast forward, doesn't seem like a bad price. One of the few games I spent the least on. Which you don't need to pay anything to play, but some of those extras help make the game better)

Hello,
I'm not really sure, but try
-Cytus
-Deemo (same maker as Cytus)
-Eyes (if you want some scare, I can't finish stage 1 ) lol
-Also, try Kairosoft games, they might be kinda old school, but I guess they're good (what a friend of mine insists), the hot spring one is kinda ok...

Freecell is probably my favorite mobile card game, but when I want to avoid people on the street, I just take out my phone and start randomally scrolling.

I've seen this in a lot of manga (and probably movies too) where someone is trying to get on a subway, or train, and the doors are closing so they put their briefcase to prevent the door from closing.
.... but wouldn't it be possible that the doors would stay shut and take your briefcase away? (the briefcase being jammed between the doors.)
Or are the doors like an elevators where it would reopen and won't fully close unless the object is removed ? ...

What I know is, they announce that the train wont be leaving until the door is fully closed.
So prepare to be scolded by many people that was in a hurry and by jamming the door, we make them more late.

It is really annoying when that happens. The briefcase won't be taken away, the doors reopen until it is completely shut and stays shut (with no interference) for more than 10 or so seconds. The train can't move till then.

Yep, they're safety doors like on elevators - they'll open and then try to shut again, but the train won't go anywhere until the doors can close completely.

Thank you Great, BaeSooky , & TofuQueen. As you can tell I don't live in an area with trains or subways, and I was always curious if that could happen.
Thanks again, and for the quick replies too
EDIT
Lorska Thanks for the reply too.

Where I live, that depends on the type of train. I'm pretty sure subway doors really do open again, but regular train doors here are merciless. Once those start closing you have to use force to keep them open. The train won't leave though. And there were incidents where people broke doors that way, and all passengers had to get out because it wouldn't close anymore, so not many people do this, as they'd have to pay a fine... But I don't know about long distance trains, never seen anyone close to missing those, so that characteristic could be a local phenomenon.

This is something that has been bugging me for a while but so far I haven't found a satisfying answer.
As a student how are you supposed to address, say, university administration/staff when in previous emails to you they have ended by stating simply their first names, rather than full names. Start addressing them by first name? Or keep using Mr/Ms (family name)?
I don't know, but it sounds really informal and even rude to me to address them by first name when our relationship is strictly formal. On the other hand, according to a friend, they probably prefer to be addressed by first name if that's how they've ended their letter.
Am I just over-thinking it too much? I'm not asking only for Western unis anyway. I had a similar experience when writing to an international coordinator at a Japanese uni who had not only concluded his email with his first name, but it was a shortened/diminutive form of it, as if we were first friends or something I understand that they want to be friendly, but it really confuses my idea of this kind of relationships, especially if it is coming from a Japanese.

If they signed off with simply their first name, I think you can take that as an indication that using their first name is perfectly acceptible. It's quite common for modes of address within universities to be fairly informal. Many academics prefer informality and other staff tend to follow suit. (On that note, if the person has an academic title such as Dr or Prof, calling them Mr/Mrs would probably be ruder than simply using their first name).
The Japanese do tend to be more formal in general, but I would still say it's acceptible if that is the way the person has chosen to sign their e-mails to you.
