Saver. Monsters, a bit bloody, very light romance plot, tsundere female lead that acts more manly... give it a try. One of the best manga I've ever read.

I'm going to second Suicide Island.
I'm surprised that no one else said this, but what about Battle Royale? I wasn't fond of the manga version and I preferred the novel but, it does fit the criteria.

Well BM: Nectar should definitely count, though it is more survival horror, you can't get closer to survivalism without the horror.
