Not sure why I'm in the mood to read something like this, but I'm looking for a romance manga where the one of the two main characters tells the other one not to fall in love with them.

A couple that come to mind are:

Koukou Debut
Lovely Everywhere

No tragedy, yaoi, horror, smut. I'm also not looking for something like the main character is dying and doesn't want the other person to be hurt - falls under tragedy. Thanks.

rosario to vampire
kind of.two personalities. one pushes him away to protect him from harm but it doesn't revolve strictly around this

It seems like a spoiler, but - Yeah, second Five. You can also try the following ones, even if the mentioned line "Don't fall in love with me" isn't a part of them, the characters more or less still try to draw a similar line through their actions ... ^^"

* Blue (SAKISAKA Io) - Incest/Cousins
* Strobe Edge
* Aniki wa Tsunayoshi!
* L-DK
* Koibana! - Koiseyo Hanabi
* Aozora Yell - Maybe...

* Kore wa Koi no Hanashi - I haven't started reading this one yet, but looks like it's the same here, because of the age gap

Thanks for the suggestions, keep 'em coming.

Five - is kind of a harem type (like Ouran) which I'm not really looking for but didn't mention in my OP

I'm definitely going to look at L-DK and that Kore wa Koi no Hanashi

I have read Strobe Edge and a couple others. No one mentioned Bitter Virgin. I really need to complete my Lists - just feels like it would take forever.

Orange Marmalade is a true gem. Ar first I thought it would be a superficial predictable vampire story but I was so wrong. I'm glad I recently got into web comics, there are a lot of great ones out there.

Parfait Tic - read it, but it just didn't do a whole lot for me. Too much drama for the sake of drama and annoying characters.

Hadashi de Bara wo Fume - I forgot about that one. I actually read it some time back but thought they had stopped translating it. I'll catch up on that on.

Thanks for the recommendations.

Kimi wa Kirakira by Yoshino Aki

In Koukou Debut, which I LOVE, the character says "don't fall in love with me" but it isn't long before he changes his mind. Kimi wa Kirakira isn't quite like that, but I enjoyed the story anyway.
