Right now I'm really interested in reading a manga where the protagonist(s) grows up. It can be like Naruto, where they start out around barely preteens and then it jumps to 2-3 years later, or like Harry Potter (I know it's not a manga but I don't know of any other series that does it) where every book the characters are a year older.

I prefer...
- the characters to start out young (preteens or teens)
- be mainly serious and not too corny/funny
- have good art (Death Note, After School Nightmare, Naruto, and Claymore have good art to me)
- more than one main character
- the main main character to be a female (this isn't too important though)
- characters aren't too typical
- fantasy and little (OR LOTS biggrin) romance
- no ecchi, yaoi, yuri, shounen ai

Even if what you want to suggest has some elements that I don't prefer, post it anyway! smile I'll give anything a chance.

666 Satan is pretty good. Mangaka is the twin brother or Naruto's mangaka.

Major fulfills most of your preference except the fantasy part since this one is about baseball...it follows him from a kid to middle school to high school to college then to pro baseball...

You can try Eden.

Berserk it starts of as an adult, but after the first volume or so u get to see his life, from a baby and up.

Zetman too is about a kid that grows up, but it dont take long before he does. it is good action though.
